Have been using Farmers for many years through a variety of different products. We have always gotten good products and good customer service. However lately this has been severely lacking. When we bought our new living room suit it was delivered with a part missing. We had no idea until we set down and reclined the chair. It tore our brand new laminate floor completely up. There fix was to take the damages off the end of the contract. We bought a dining table and chairs before Thanksgiving. They damaged the chairs and had to replace them. They forgot to order the replacement chairs until we called weeks later to follow up. There fix was us keeping the messed up chairs. Recently, our couch has an area that has been stitched once already. The guy said we needed a new cushion because of where the area is located (in between cushions). Here we are more than a month later with no replacement. I called today to be informed that they no longer can get the fabric. If I would not have called I would have never known. I'm not sure what has changed but the customer service has really went down. It would be nice to be treated as a person not just funds coming...
Read moreI am disabled and can't get out of the house much due to my mobility restrictions. However, over the past couple of months, I have been talking with Farmers Home Funiture with Britney and Lisa. Today I was able to stop in and meet the staff, and look at their power lift recliners. The staff did not have to push for a sale because I already knew what I had in mind to purchase and since I worked at the biggest Lazy-Boy factory in the United States for over 5 years, I knew what to look for.
Lisa was very polite and brought out a lift recliner from the back for me to look at. It was exactly what I was looking for. In a few days, I will be going to the hospital for two surgeries and after I'm released next month I will be going back and purchasing that chair.

Read moreI've purchased a mattress, washer and dryer combo, and a recliner from here. Both sides of the mattress sunk in after a year and a half, got another one through the warranty, and it didn't last a full three years.
The washer started having problems as soon as we paid it off (18 months). So far so good on my recliner (2 yrs now). However, we were told, "if we didn't use the insurance within the two years, we would be refunded for the insurance price and the company would send us a check in the mail for the balance". Not true, when we called to get the refund, the associate told us "no, that it would be put towards a store credit. I explained what we were told, and she repeated herself."
