The ONLY reason I gave this place 2 stars was because the staff were super nice. They were all super kind and friendly! The food is a NO NO. I ordered the veggie sub. The grilled onions on the sub were burnt. SIMPLY BURNT! Anyone that eats knows that once onions are burnt the taste is disgusting. I was SUPER EXCITED to try them out and after learning that they were owned by the same owners of Pleasant Pizza I was confident that the food would match up with the Lumberton location. WRONG!!! The sub size is smaller, overly toasted and dried out. The sub has no flavor and they are okay with preparing a sub with BURNT veggies. Like REALLY?!?!?! It was SIMPLY DISGUSTING. I really tried to enjoy the meal but the burnt flavor was unbearable. The crinkle cut fries were good but that's expected relative to frozen fried fries. The pickle was good. Overall, LISTEN TO THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS this place has. The people that gave positive reviews must work there or are ordering the 1 thing on the menu that is tasty. The worst thing about it all is that the food actually looked as if it was going to taste good. IT DID NOT TASTE GOOD... NOT AT ALL. Wish I could get my money and time back

It’s Laurinburg and I am sure at one time there was a Greek community here so the name is from then. In a plaza right off 74/76. Folks were very nice. Plenty of booths and seating. Bathrooms clean. Easy parking. Husband had a very nice meatball sub I ordered a Greek salad. Came with a Greek dressing. It was (fumbling for a word here) not a Greek salad. Everything was fresh. Nice cucumbers tomato and lettuce. It was disappointing but a $12 salad it was not. Sliced black olives and I think it was feta on top. For a nice hot sub/grinder it was good. Did not see a pizza come out for lunch but I am sure those were fine as well. Next time we will try someplace else

I stopped in for lunch while passing through Laurinburg NC. The prices are on par with other restaurants and the food is well worth the price of the meal. I ordered the baked ziti and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. I will definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.

Our office placed a take-out order, one of which was a "raw veggie sub, no mushrooms". When the order was received, the veggie sub was cooked. We called the restaurant and told them the sub was incorrect, that it was ordered "raw" and with no mushrooms, and they instructed us to bring it back. Before hanging up, the ordered was repeated - "raw veggie sub, no mushrooms". Mistakes happen - it's really not a big deal. However, when the sub was returned at the drive-up window, the older gentleman didn't apologize for the inconvenience - He just took the sandwich and said ok. Fifteen minutes later, I'm still waiting. I just know those veggies are being cooked because putting raw veggies on a toasted bun in a restaurant that's empty except for one customer can't be taking 15 minutes! I tried to get someone's attention because I was running out of time to even eat the sandwich, but just then, the older gentleman walked up with the order. Again, he handed it over and didn't apologize for the mistake or even my wait. I pulled up a bit to find - guess what? Yep! A cooked veggie sub!!! I back up to the window where he was still waiting and said "it's not raw - it's cooked." He ARGUED with me, and I responded "It's cooked AND HAS MUSHROOMS. I don't even have time anymore - I just need a refund." He snatched my sandwich from me and thrust my refund in my hand - no apology, just resentment.

Apologies to my husband, but this restaurant has been put on "the list" of never to return! Cannot imagine whatever happened to "the customer's always right", and this gentleman is of the generation that fully understood the importance of keeping your...

Absolutely NOT what it once was! I worked here when it first came. Lou was a great owner and boss He took pride in his restaurant and we employees took great pride in our work Haven’t been here for many years. Stopped by tonight on our way back to Sumter and it’s just awful. I’ve always loved the Greek sub so i ordered one. It’s not even made the same ThWay dressing is no where near what it was back in the day. No seasoning at all meat was super dry! They close at 8 but locked the doors at 7 and told the people that were trying to come in that “no they leave at 8” I have no idea who owns it now. Pretty sure John from Lumberton restaurant doesn’t own it because he and Lou both were very particular about how things were done. Definitely will not return. It was hot but no taste and one of the girls was full of attitude. Seems this younger generation just don’t care. It’s a real shame because Greek village was once a very nice place to eat. Whoever owns it now obviously cutting corners. Hopefully the Lumberton one is still under John and is still good. Will try and get by there next time we are this way. Complete disappointment. My husband and I agree we would’ve rather went to Nics quick pic for some chicken and taters. If you’re looking for authentic don’t come here cause it’s gone straight downhill. Wish I would’ve known Jay Lou had passed away and it was under new management....
