I went in to the Dunkin' at the Quaker Bridge Mall and got two medium mocha iced peppermint coffees with oat milk and no whipped cream. I went to pick up the order and asked the service worker, who I believe was the manager, if he made the drink with oat milk. He pretended like he didn't hear me and I asked him again. Did you make this with oat milk. He laughed and said I think so? I told him I can't have regular milk and I had asked for oat milk. He then asked the woman in back making sandwiches to taste the coffee to see if it tasted like oat milk or cream. I told him no I can't have milk because it will make me sick. He said, "Oh she won't be drinking from the cup." Meaning she would pour some of the latte out and drink it. I doubt this woman can taste oat milk or regular milk in a mixed latte with peppermint and mocha.
At this point, I wanted a refund. I went back to ask the cashier to refund my money. The manager who had made my drink hopped on line to work the register. I told him I wanted a refund. He told me he remade my drinks with oat milk and I said I don't care I want a refund. He told me he wouldn't refund my money. I told him I'd contact Dunkin corporate and he said "go ahead". So I did.
I did receive a full refund and every customer support worker said that his actions do not uphold Dunkin's standard of quality. I hope that this manager gets some basic training on drink making and allergies because he's going to make someone sick, if he hasn't already. Or if he can't understand food safety, perhaps he should just try to manage working...
Read moreGenerally I don’t write a bad review but this time I couldn’t stop myself writing a bad review. I had a terrible experience with Dunkin’s at Quaker bridge mall. I ordered carrot cake, donuts and munchkins. When I opened the carrot cake (Cup cake). It was in bad shape, crushed in half, bulging the other side and paper was torn. I asked the service worker to exchange it. He went to ask his manager. First of all, we were waiting and the manager didn’t show up. When I said, “excuse me sir” then he showed up. He talked very rudely. He said, "What's the problem?" I showed the carrot cake and explained and said it doesn’t look good. Then again he said what’s the problem. It tests the same. I don’t make this cake, it comes from “Dunkin’s donuts”, Call to “Dunkin’s donut”. The way he spoke was very rude and arrogant. Since the cake was not looking good my son didn’t like to eat it and I had to throw it away. My son got upset since he was in the mood to eat carrot cake and finally ended up with no carrot cake.
Our family loves Dunkin’s donut but after this incident we will think twice before going there. Manager needs a training on how to talk to customers.
One more thing I want to add here is that they don’t keep napkins in front and they don’t give it without asking. I had to asked for napkin after receiving orders. Hardly they gave us 3 napkins for...
Read moreHi ordered a drink for my wife and she goes there to pick up the drink 10 minutes after I placed it and there was no drink at the pick up counter and when she asked them about her order they said there was no order placed, that’s a lie since I sent a pic of the receipt to my wife to show. After my wife showed them the receipt of the online order the drink magically appeared from under the counter and handed to her. Bunch of thieves I would say. They were hoping no one showed so they can drink it or resell it. Bad ethics and customer service. I’m reporting it to corporate and recommending that everyone take their business elsewhere and avoid going to the Dunkin’ in Quakerbridge Mall in Lawrence, NJ Don’t ever go there!!!!!! I’m never...
