Hawaiian Bros Island Grill — Restaurant in Lawrence

An absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a friendly "Aloha!" that instantly transports you to a more relaxed, sun-drenched state of mind. The laid-back, beachy vibe is a perfect escape from the everyday. But the real star of the show is the food. I'm a huge fan of the classic Huli Huli Chicken. It's incredibly flavorful, with that perfect sweet and savory teriyaki glaze, and it's always cooked fresh and tender. The plate lunch is a classic for a reason – the generous scoops of white rice and the creamy, tangy macaroni salad are the perfect complements to the chicken. I've also ventured out and tried the Molokai Chicken, which has a nice little kick of spice without being overwhelming. It's just as delicious and showcases the quality and consistency of their cooking. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and everything is served piping hot. And whatever you do, do not skip the Dole Whip for dessert. It's the perfect light and refreshing way to end the meal – pure pineapple bliss! The service is always quick and friendly, and the portions are generous for the price. Hawaiian Bros has become my go-to spot for a consistently delicious, feel-good meal. Saw the restaurant and was immediately drawn to the cuisine. The smells as I approached the door was appealing and pleasantly greeted me. As I went inside the place was beautiful! Very clean and beautifully decorated. Island vibes everywhere just made me feel welcomed. As I looked at the menu I was pleased to see it was simple, easy to understand and set up in a logic and easy to follow way. The greeter Miss Jeanne (Jean like the French pronunciation) was warm and welcoming. Her spunk was contagious and her explanation to my questions were extremely helpful. She made me feel welcome and her level of customer service is superb! Excellent hire! Just a natural people person and always with a smile on her face. She talked to me about the other locations and the rewards programs offered. Plus she gave all the details about the ONE OHANA Rewards program from memory. I’ll definitely come back to this restaurant! The food was fresh, well cooked and presented very nicely. The selection of drinks was great and the Hawaiian sodas were a refreshing option. Portions selection was excellent as well. Y’all have to get the soft serve Pineapple ice cream....

I woke up in this place without any memory of getting here, and I already had a bowl of food in front of me. Despite seeing what I can only assume was a blood thirsty entity outside of the front window calling my name and beckoning me to come outside, the general atmosphere INSIDE the store was very welcoming. I finished my meal and at the bottom of the food container there was a time and date written in barbecue sauce, which doesn't make much sense since I didn't have any barbecue sauce in my meal. I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to be the day I die, but I don't know because there was no further information. When I looked back out of the window, the entity was gone and I felt safe enough to return to my car, but as I was about to leave a small man walked out of the bathrooms and whispered "It's after you now, good luck." Besides the ominous messages and unrelated threats to my safety, I'm going to be returning to have more meals at this Hawaiian Bros until my untimely fate on June 7th, 2028. Food was...
