I had a fantastic experience at Oriental Bistro and Grill KS! The restaurant's convenient location with ample parking immediately caught my attention. During my visit, the service was solid, on par with what you'd expect during lunch hours. This place does not deserve one star AT ALL! Five million stars! The staff was so friendly and willing to tell us everything in each dish we asked about. We went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't busy. We all also ordered from their authentic menu, which they do not give out unless you ask for it. It's also a big list and I imagine the best food comes from this menu. My brother got the potato chicken, my sister got the chicken curry rice, and I got the 3 chicken bowl. We went to the Oriental Bistro in Lawrence for my husband's birthday on Friday night(we live in Topeka Ks). Our server, Brian, did a fantastic job. He answered all of our questions. He also accommodated all of our food requests. My husband doesn't care for garlic, so Brian offered to have the cook remove the garlic from his general tso sauce. Which I thought was above and beyond. He was also very attentive, polite, and quick. The food was great and fresh made. My hot and sour soup was fantastic. I also had the pan-fried noodles that came with shrimp, pork, chicken, and veggies. It was hot, fresh, and tasty. The fried rice was full of flavor. We didn't even need soy sauce. The sweet n sour chicken was also fantastic and flavorful. The egg drop soup, wonton soup, and walnut sauce shrimp were also good. All 6 of us enjoyed what we ordered.
