I visited the Lawrence store yesterday and looked at the online menu to decide what I wanted while I was waiting in the drive-thru. I told the person taking orders that I was ordering off the online menu, in case it mattered. After I got home and looked at my receipt, none of the prices match what was on their website. We live 40 minutes from the store, so it wasn't like I could just drive back up there. Nor did I want to wait another 10-15 minutes in line to discuss their mistakes.
The fajita mix was supposed to be 9.69. The chips and guac was supposed to be 4.99. The tacos were supposed to be 2.29 each. What I was charged was 11.99 for the fajitas, 5.19 for the chips and guac, and 3.49 each for the tacos.
In addition, I told her I wanted steak for the fajitas, and instead got a mix of steak and shrimp. Fortunately my husband isn't allergic to shrimp, but it is NOT what I ordered. That could be a serious mistake for someone allergic to seafood. If it would have been me, I would have thrown the concoction out.
I also specified TWICE that I wanted mild salsa and what she gave me was these tiny containers of something so hot I could hardly eat it. Threw half of it out.
Then to make matters worse, the "Grand Total" says, $34.04, but my card was charged $35.31.
What games are they playing here?
Guys, the food isn't worth it! Go to Mi Ranchito!
Hope this review saves someone the trouble I went through. I...
Read moreMy boyfriend loved this place and went through the drive thru and asked if he could get the #6 with ground beef. She had told him yes. He told her okay and again said, "But, with ground beef," The food shown on the menu did not look appitizing, so i didn't want anything. He ordered chips and salsa with cheese dip, thinking i would eat those. NAH....I wanted Hawaiian brothers across the street. I got my food, and we parked to eat, and they had given him shredded beef (really, it looked and tasted like shredded pork roast). That was tough. We went back told the lady that he wanted ground beef, and she said, "i repeated your order to you." he had specifically asked her if he could get beef instead of shredded, and she had heard his question because she said yes. Not one time did she say "no, you never said you wanted ground beef" because she knows she heard him. They did nothing to rectify the situation. They wanted him to buy another meal. They food was blan, and beans and rice had no taste at all. It says a lot when you have to downed your food with sasla to eat it. That was a lot of money for them to be rude and act like it wasn’t her fault, but it was. They should have refunded his money because the food was terrible. We ended up sharing my food.
When you order, pray because if its wrong, you're out of money and food TERRIBLE!! My pics look better than the food...
Read moreThese reviews are full of Karens and Kens that would be better off going to Taco Bell or Chipotle to have it “their way” like the Burger Queens they are. Here’s the deal folks - best breakfast and regular burritos in a 500 mile radius PERIOD. This is a fact - Panchos delicious breakfast burritos saved my life during the pandemic and continue to provide delicious daily nourishment at a bargain of price. It is true - i have eaten over 250 meals there in 2020 and will fight anyone in the street over it. Highlights of the menu include:
Steak Breakfast Burrito Crazy Breakfast Burrito Carne Asada Fries Burrito Adobada Burrito ‘Habanero’ Burrito Mar y Tierra Burrito Ranchero Plate
Stick to these items folks and you will never be disappointed. If you want hard shell tacos or bean burritos with ‘light pico de gallo” - go to taco bell/chipotle with your ‘mayo is too spicy’ buns as this isn’t the place . This fine establishment doesn't cater to the stereotypical generic fare - if you want an excellent gourmet burrito then you’re right where you need to be.
Also, the staff is amazing - they wear masks and are super clean and friendly. Tip them well when you can!...
