Hubby and I met our bffs here. The atmosphere is quite lovely! Dark wood tables, bar and floors with pendant fixtures sporadically placed. One wall is dedicated to a wine room, the other the bar. 4 tops mostly prevail with booth seating against the walls. We arrived at 4pm and had the place to ourselves. Our server, Annie, was informative, efficient and helpful. It was HAPPY HOUR! YAY! I had the 6.00 prosecco which was tasty and a great pour. Bff had the red flight, hubby the margarita (which comes in a small glass but packs a potent amount) and bffs husband, a beer. We ordered the burrata and edamame and not at all disappointed. The edamame comes smothered in ginger sauce, sesame and some spicy sauce I can't remember. Bff and I cleared that plate in 5 flat. The burrata was just a luscious and creamy concoction that melted in one's mouth AND a work of art! I had the French onion soup and this was a bit disappointing. It was served tepid. I like my soups piping hot. The cheese melting was spot on but after poking my spoon to the bottom, I pulled up the croutons and onions and found it a bit bland. Nothing but an onion water taste. The wedge salad was fine. I should've asked for more blue cheese crumbles as there were 5 or 6 small pieces as well as 2 halved cherry tomatoes and 3 chunks of bacon. It had ALOT of iceberg lettuce. So, probably not ordering that again nor the soup. That all being said, the dessert was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I had the chocolate cake which was a freaking Skyscraper in size! LOOK AT IT! 7 layers of heaven on a plate. Every bite delivered the same thing: chocolate, moist cake and creamy icing. Just absolutely divine! BFF had the creme Brule and shared with hubby until they were literally, fighting over it. I didn't partake as my slice of heaven was making me one very happy person! The bathroom is very clean and they have deluxe paper towels that don't feel like sandpaper. 4 stars for food and 5 for service and atmosphere. Go for happy hour. We ate alot of food, had drinks and dessert and the bill was 75.00. They also offer pre fixe dinners that was just starting when we departed. Nice addition to...

Read moreIt takes A LOT for me to write a negative review as I know the impact that it can have. To be honest, I’ve never written a negative review. I also have the upmost respect for the service industry, having worked it myself . The staff was very kind, but not educated at all on the food or the drinks. Very disappointed is an understatement. The salmon was beyond overcooked. The beet “puree” was smashed beets from a can. The Coq au vin showed absolutely zero signs of any red wine. The sauce had a burnt taste to it and was mushy. But the real kicker to this was that it was so overcooked that with every bite, we got a piece of bone or cartilage that we continued to pick out of our teeth for the entire meal. This was not tender. This was overcooked and dangerous. I’ve been fortunate to have eaten coq au vin on more than one occasion. This showed zero resemblance. The burrata appetizer was satisfying ….But I am pretty certain it was fresh mozzarella …. Not burrata. Which is fine, but not as advertised. We were also charged full price for that and a glass of wine that should’ve been part of the happy hour menu. I was trying to treat my daughter to a special meal and feel completely saddened by the fact that we spent the amount we did on this food. And last, but not least both my daughter and I ….having just had this meal few hours ago ….are both feeling very sick. As a foodie and an avid cook, but also on a budget, I don’t mind spending that amount on a special occasion. Let’s just say I’m very disheartened that I made the suggestion to...
