YOLO Milk Tea — Restaurant in Lawrence

I love this place. I’ve been drinking tea from here for about three years! They have a wide variety of options, and one of their workers (the pretty lady with long red hair) is clearly very passionate about tea. I’ve had some great conversations with her. If you ask her for a recommendation she’ll help you narrow down and find one that will fit your craving. And even on the days where she appears very tired she’s got great recommendations. I saw a review about a worker “looking unhappy” and I think it’s very unreasonable to expect people to be customer service robots all the time. Maybe I went on an off day given this place has a 4.8, but I was super disappointed with this place. I got a hot taro milk tea, no topping. Waited for 20 mins, while staffs just chatted at the counter. Finally I went up and asked and they said “they’re warming my drink up”. Eventually got my drink (they just left it at the counter, didn’t call out that the drinks ready) which was lukewarm, with boba topping and in a plastic cup….The store has a really cute vibe, but don’t think I’ll come back to this place since there are a couple of boba...

Despite going there once (I AM PLANNING ON GOING AGAIN) it immediately caught my eye. It's cozy environment is a balm to the soul, aided by the playing of lo-fi in the background. The boba is amazing, being warm and chewy. The drinks themselves are tasty and comforting. Overall, I recommend this place if your looking for a place to relax, study, and enjoy some tasty treats.
