I just went through the drive thru tonight after a long day and weekend of work at a restaurant myself and my kids having a long weekend at the babysitters. I ordered 2 kids chicken strip meals and 2 mini blizzards. I paid $17.96. I drive 15 mins home. One of my children got all of her meal. The other was crying that her chicken strips weren’t in the bag just fries and honey mustard. I made her something else to eat and figured I would just call to get another one another day or my money back when I get back in town tomorrow. I call and the phone rings three times and was picked up and then I was hung up on. I tried three more times no answer, just a voicemail. I try one more time to leave a voicemail and someone picks up. She asked me to bring my food, receipt, and drive 15 mins back in to town with my children and it’s pouring rain outside. I explained I couldn’t come back tonight. She said well let me ask my manager and keeps the phone where I can hear everything they’re saying. She explains what I told her and then the manager says “ IS THAT THE PERSON THAT JUST CALLED TEN TIMES. I CAN’T TALK RIGHT NOW. I’LL HAVE TO CALL HER BACK”, with a tone and attitude. We all know I wouldn’t have gotten a call back either. I said , “yes this is the person that just called a few times not ten and if you knew the phone was ringing or that the same person called multiple times, why wouldn’t you pick up ? Is it because you picked the phone up and hung up on me the first time? I said, “don’t worry about it. I’ll just call the corporate office”, and the lady said “ you do that”. If I were to treat a paying customer like that after already messing up their order and say that in that tone and to where the customer could hear me, I would be in HUGE trouble...
Read moreSo I took my grandkids through the drive-through last night and My granddaughter and I both got chicken strip meals while my grandson got a burger. The service was good and everybody was friendly, but The chicken strip in this picture is literally one of the medium ones that were in my meal. I paid $9.29 for the six piece chicken meal with barbecue sauce. The majority of my chicken strips or this size or smaller and a little fatter. I guess I don’t expect huge chicken strips if I get a six piece meal for $9.29, but I do expect them to be a little bigger than my freaking finger! What is wrong with these places?? I went to another fast food chain and got a burger that was supposed to have an extreme amount of bacon on it the other day and it had one strip of bacon. I am just sick of fast food places right now. Every single, one of them seem to be extremely disappointing! $46 for an 11-year-old, a 12-year-old, and grandma to eat is absolutely ridiculous for fast food. That’s go in and sit down real restaurant prices. BTW, the chicken strip meal does not come...
Read moreI have made my last trip to this Dairy Queen. Have been a Dairy Queen loyal customer for many years and I will continue to be, however the one here in Lawrenceburg will get no more of my business after today. I accidentally passed up the ordering station in the drive thru and wasn’t able to back up because a car was behind me so I went on through and told the girl at the window I was very sorry but could she take my order there? I’m sure it was Inconvenient. They fixed my order and brought it out and told me the manager said if it happened again they would not be able to serve me. My order was one Peanut buster parfait🤨 I go there almost weekly and have never done this before. Sonic and Mc Donald’s ice cream is actually pretty good and just up the street. I will frequent Dairy Queen’s when I go out of town, but I have a choice where to spend my money and it won’t be at this place.... and I told them so. My goodness, how rude. I usually buy gift certificates at Christmas there and sometimes as birthday gifts for kids. This is not...
