I ordered the brisket. It was super salty! Way too salty and mostly fat not meat. The Mac n cheese was ok and the sweet potato fries were salty, even though I asked her, the waitress to not put salt and pepper in my food..

So salty I got a headache after eating their food. Looks can be deceiving.

I just received a tasteless unthoughtful response from the owner, who said they would have done something if I had said something...

Again my food was taken out, and not tasted until I was home.

Therefore versus you being defensive, you could've offered to make it right by apologizing and suggesting a possible free drink or discount on my next meal.

(This would then invite me to come back and give you guys a second try)

These are just two options that you could have taken.

I also noticed the way you treated the African female that bought a box full of food after me, and when she wanted to order 2 more sides you gave her a hard time.

The words of your staff and their body language do not match at all.

We the customer work hard for our money, and you are providing a service for our money.

If your service is not up to par, then maybe you shouldn't be a provider of said service anymore.

I was also disappointed when I was told that even though you're a BBQ establishment, you have run out of ribs and chicken and it wasn't even 12 noon on this 4th day of July?

Again... If your service is not up to par, then maybe you shouldn't be a provider of said service anymore.

Thank you for the opportunity to realize your attention to the details that I and others who desire quality should not and will...

From the moment we walked into Foggy Bottom BBQ in Lawrenceville, GA, we knew we were in for a treat. Despite it being a bustling Friday night, the restaurant maintained a calm and relaxing atmosphere, serving as an inviting oasis for us to unwind and indulge.

First and foremost, the service was absolutely stellar. Our waitress, Michelle, was the epitome of hospitality. She was not only sweet and nice but was also attentive to our needs, ensuring our experience was nothing less than perfect.

The food, of course, did not fall short of our high expectations. The wings were impeccably cooked, achieving that elusive balance between crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a testament to their mastery of the grill. The pork was equally delightful, bursting with flavors that epitomized authentic Southern BBQ at its finest.

Every bite in Foggy Bottom BBQ was an absolute treat, reflecting the attention and care that goes into each dish. Add in the warm, inviting atmosphere, and you have the makings of an unforgettable dining experience.

Whether you're a BBQ connoisseur or just someone looking for a relaxing meal at the end of the week, Foggy Bottom BBQ is the place to be. Here's to good food, great ambiance, and exemplary service – a winning combination that will keep us coming...

Wow, This barbecue was awesome.. I read the reviews I went I'm sold. To. I live in Norcross boss and I was looking for some really good barbecue . I came across this restaurant just doing a Google search.. I've lived in Texas for 20 years I was looking for good barbecue . . The brisket was delicious the ribs were delicious just like I like them And those potato skins were good too. Now the Collard Greens need some work. Don't get me wrong they were clean but they need some ham hock and some black pepper and It needed to be smothered down a little bit more. But back to the brisket it was delicious the ribs were good . I will come back again for more. Oh I have a customer suggestion try to get a location in Norcross it's a shame you're only at that 1 spot it's too good.

**update i went today June 14 2025 ordered caramelized onions burger & 3 bones Ribs that was the worst I ever had. Also I was seated right away but I had to flagg down a server just to eat food that was not good. The ladies working the floor ignored me. I flagged down the young boy & he finally took my order. I will not be coming back & highly encourage anyone to avoid...

The health score here is currently a 92. Came here for the first time on a lunch meeting. Our entire crew was happy with their food. Our server was polite and gave great menu suggestions for first time diners. Our group ordered fried pickles , pork rinds, and potato skins for appetizers . The fried pickles were breaded and fried well. Sour pickle intensity could be a bit stronger but everyone loved the ranch dipping sauce . I ordered a brisket sandwich on Texas toast with my pimento cheese on the side. Okra was my lunch side item. Im highly critical of pimento cheese . This one is legit! Super sharp cheddar flavor with a slight kick and good amount of pimentos . Not too much mayo. My brisket was smokey and beyond tender. The okra was fried to perfection . Nice thick crunchy coating, not soggy like some establishments . I gave this place five stars based on the pimento cheese quality . I’d definitely visit again .

This restaurant has been on my list to try for awhile. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It is located on the square of downtown lawrenceville. It’s very pretty square. We ate and walked a pine the downtown and did some shopping. I ordered a pork sandwich with fries and my husband got the award wining ribs. The pork was very tender and I loved the Texas toast. The restaurant is very clean and I really appreciate that when eating somewhere lol. The staff was friendly and Attentive. The price point was really good for the portion sizes. I live in Alpharetta and I will definitely be making the drive to lawrenceville again!!! If you haven’t already you need to try this restaurant:)
