My second time here per a referral. The atmosphere is amazing however, when you are spending $160.00 plus tip you would think asking your nail tech to adjust and fix your nails, this should not be a reply. I made it clear and sent pictures of my desire. My nails are warped ( which I explained AND sent a picture). It's press-on going forward!!!! I'm done spending my hard earned money for this foolery. I've been getting my nails done since 16 yrs old and never, have I encountered the below........ I asked my nails to have a curve, they don't, they are warped, which I politely explained. I got my nails done Sunday and reached out Monday asking for correction. "Hey girl ! I’m so glad you’re enjoying your set ! So i definitely understand what you mean however I do not typically do super thick nails due to nail health and integrity. The set I gave you in my opinion was applied and filed very well , I kept them thicker more rounded on the sides like you requested so I’m not exactly sure what you meant by the sides aren’t filed (please let me know so Ik what you mean lol) As for the acrylic application putting more acrylic towards the tip of your nail would result in an imbalance of your nail structure likely causing lifting from your sidewalls and cuticle .While I love talking with you I don’t think the salon or I are going to be the best fit for your style of nails . I can refer you to @mygirlfriendsplace in Stone Mountain who do more thick curved style or bling and beauty nail salon in lawrenceville. My family and I recently moved to the area, and I was looking for a new nail place. I came across Glo Beauty Bar as I was walking downtown. I could not believe the wonderful location!

Upon reading some of the reviews online, I decided to book an appointment. Glo Beauty Bar is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The pedicure stations are on one side of the salon, and the manicure stations on the other side.

The nail bar is by appointment only. The girls are always on time and ready when I arrive. I love that they are overly cautious when it comes to hygienic practices - they require all of their clients to wash their hands upon arriving, utilize professionally sterilized tools, and use new buffers and files every time.

I always leave very satisfied with my service. The girls are all so kind and talented - any idea I have thought of beforehand, they are able to bring to life. I will also note that I have an infant, and have to bring him with me to my appointments. Everyone is always so accommodating, understanding, and patient, which I so appreciate as a mom.

Let me start off by saying this is a real cute nail salon, not crowded because it is by appointment only. I was horrified at the way my nails looked when I got done. I scheduled a deluxe pedicure and even Angie who did my nails confirmed it but when I looked at my receipt at home it said Cruelty free which is more expensive then the deluxe and there was an extra charge for callus treatment which I did not ask for. Worst pedicure I have ever had. I had a fill-in done on my hands, and all my nails were curved in, I never asked for that and, none of my nails were filed evenly. This place needs to get better nail technicians who know what the meaning of a manicure and pedicure really means. I don't mind paying for good service but, not worth the $100 plus dollars that I paid. I wouldn't go back here even if it...
