A friend and I decided to come here for the 1st time this week and we were not disappointed. Starting with the atmosphere, I really enjoyed that they had Indian music videos playing. Outside of watching a one off Bollywood movie I have personally not heard a lot of this genre of music so it was nice to hear different kinds of music from the Indian culture. (Updated)The 3 stars just comes from some of the decor that seemed out of place, like the paper doilies under the glass on the table that looks like it was left from valentines day. Nothing major but just something I took note of, but the main reason is the fact that it can be a little warm in there. With how hot it's been outside they need to make sure that AC is pumping in there. About the serive, the women that waited on us was really nice but she was MIA sometimes and based on the conversation I overheard from 2 elderly women that were sitting close by she was neglectful at times. I didnt have any major issues with the service I just wish she was a bit more attentive with our drink refills or just updating us on our food since there weren't a lot of people in there dining and we did have quite a wait for our food. She later explain that they made the tandoori chicken to order so it takes a little longer. I also noticed that even though the dining area was empty the seemed to have a lot of doordash, ubereats orders come through. So, about our meals. Everything we had was SOOOO DELICIOUS and well worth the wait! The samosas were packed with filling and flavor. It was paired with a green type of salsa and a sweet kind of sauce. Not sure what the actual name of it was but they were both tasty. As you can see from the video I added my chicken tandoori was brought out sizzling hot and my grilled onions were ACTUALLY grilled. I hate when restaurants throw raw onions on at the last minute and and they try to pass off slightly warmed up onions as grilled onions. It's a BIG pet peeve of mine, mostly because I dont really like raw onions. So, I was happy to see that the onions on my plate were actually grilled, cooked, and extremely flavorful. The basmati rice that came with my meal was cooked to perfection and the yogurt curry sauce was 👌. All of this plus the garlic naan was just heaven. My friend had the butter chicken and that was just as good. After our meal we decided to try some dessert and got the balls. I will search the actual name for that dessert and add it to the image. It was my 1st time trying that and it was better than expected. It kinda reminded me of bread pudding. Like it would be bread pudding's distant cousin or something. I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like but that's what it reminded me of. Either way it was pretty good. Ultimately, we really enjoyed this place and had a great experience here. I know a lot of people are ordering food for pick up but I highly recommend going into this establishment and enjoying your meal there.

I've been craving Indian food for about 3 years, since moving from a big city to a small east Texas town. When I was in Lawton to visit family, I saw they had an Indian restaurant and I had to give it a try. It was delicious! We had butter chicken and chicken korma with cheese naan and roti on the side. The dishes had great presentation, with generous servings of the entrees and rice. My partner loved the butter chicken and naan--it was her first time trying Indian food and it was a hit. The sauce did not skimp on the signature butter from its name. I loved the korma, and it was extra spicy as I had asked. The roti was also delicious. Both of the 'bread' sides were plentiful for the price--I'm used to getting just a couple of pieces in an order. There was more than enough in each order for the entire dish, plus some to take home. The restaurant was a bit empty at 5pm on a Saturday, which is a shame, because the service was very personable, the food came fast and hot, and was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Here's hoping Chef India finds a lot more business so they stick around a good long while.

The server was beautiful, polite and friendly. Wished the food was also good. Ordered 4 naans, Prawns Masala Curry, Bhindi (okra) masala. We were very upset when we took the food as to go and opened the pack at the Hotel where we spend the night. The Naans were huge 1 naan = 12 inch pizza base. The server should have informed us as we ordered food for 2 and their 1 naan is really big. We had to trash 2 naans. As it gets colder the Naan needs a chainsaw to cut them. Just a pun.😀 The prawn masala was good. But the Okra ( bhindi masala) was bad. If old dried okra is used then even it is well cooked it still cannot be chewed... it becomes like plastic sheets on chewed. We also tried mango lassi at the restaurant and it is higly recommended....it was awesome. Even masala tea.. my friend said it was good... but the fact Mango lassi was Great. Thanks.

Look... here's the deal. I've eaten Indian for the last 25 years, I've also learned to cook it a little here and there and have a couple Hindi cookbooks. I've eaten so many things on this menu i can't remember them all... everything is good... everything. While you are waiting, make sure you hit the hot Chai tea table. If you are just breaking in to Indian food, try the chicken biryani (beer-YON-ee) or the Saag Paneer (sahg pah-NEER) if you don't like a lot of heat, get the mild. If you can handle some, do yourself a favor and get the medium or hot. Believe me, she will light you up. One of my absolute faves is the Shahi Paneer. Though I'm kinda hung up on the Kadahi masala right now. Basically trying to figure out how to reproduce it, which is impossible to get it this good. Above all, make absolutely sure you get the garlic naan (non), and/or the onion kulcha with your meal. The naan is unbelievable. The staff is super friendly and really great people to get to know. If your wanting fast food, this isn't your place. I'm not saying they are slow in any manner. But if you are looking for quality and a home cooked Indian experience, Chef India will nail it.

One more thing, please, for the love of all that is culinary, don't tell them how to make your food. If there's something in it that you don't like... get something else, this isn't McDeath where they can hold the onions and pickles. These recipes are striving for a particular goal and flavor only accomplished by including each ingredient. it's simply discourteous and somewhat insulting to ask them to change the recipe.

Lastly, prepare yourself for Hindi hip hop......

First note, I really did not know anything about Indian food except that there are some things I really like that always appeal to me whenever I stepped into an Indian restaurant. The Naan and Buttery Chicken are two of the first things that I usually look for.

Most Indian buffets that have been to usually come with Naan except for here it's $2.99 a basket but it's totally worth it. You get a choice of about 3 different Naans and it comes out fresh so you will have to be patient.

The buffet is only offered Friday Saturday and Sunday during the day time and it closes up about 3. You might not know about this place until you drive by it and actually see a sign that says Buffet, just had my tires screeching to a halt yesterday unfortunately it was too late. And here I am the next day.

The buffet price is about $13 plus Uncle Sam and with the Naan and an iced tea it comes up to just a hair over $19 plus tip. The service here is really attentive.

The parking is little and limited up front but they say there is parking in the back.

Why are you reaching your meal you will be pleasant it by some subtle Indian music. You also often see the owner which I would assume coming back and forth making sure most of the detail in the buffet is taken care of. That is a good thing since nothing will ever run out and up to par. After your meal, help yourself to a cup of Chai that is in a push button thermos on the left side of the buffet this is probably the only Indian buffet in town but at least it is decent and deserves a visit.

The interior is clean and...
