Hate the manager, hate the food. Quality dropping all the time. Went for Early bird special and tried to catch brunch. No early bird prices and no brunch. Generally you will feel satisfied after usual meals. When we left, we did feel full but... It is just like, their food is empty. They have no nutrition in them. It was a sad feeling. I may eat here again in desperation for a hot bufffet... But I will always hate Golden Corral.
We ate here for Thanksgiving because we couldn’t do our own. It is usually 30ish dollars for my family and I. They charged 52 dollars on thanksgiving! They are acting like we are the ones who forced them to get up and cook when it is their choice to be open and it wasn’t even special at all. Sure they had most Thanksgiving staples, but they didn’t have cranberry sauce and they only cooked Thanksgiving stuff. Seeing as they got to give all the other foods a break, I don’t see why they would need to charge more. We could have went to other places that were open and paid regular prices. It isn’t about having a Thanksgiving meal. It is about being able to be thankful to have a meal with your family even if you can’t cook it yourself. Then I thought why not bought some take out food while killing my time in the park. I went in to that buffet. They said they sold food by weight .Perfect. I quickly put food I want in the take away box am came back to the counter. They are allowing both entry and exit to the exit side . They are allowing 3-4 customers they finished and dined in . . I am just standing for over 15 minutes. I told 2 or 3 times to remind I am waiting..They ignored me and finally I raised my voice to hear many people to complain and they finally let me pay and take away. One of their waitress or supervisor showed up in the front . The cashier on the right side for exiting route /left side entrance route. Told others as I didn’t even notice he is there in disrespectful manner. I felt offended even thinking to throw away that food in the bin and leave but I just calm down didn’t say anything and leave .of course I am not going to eat that food . Read moreCustomer interaction: the majority of the staff was very friendly. Our server was personable and very on point when it came to making sure we had what we needed. The entrance was a little haphazard, there is no clear direction on where to go, three times I noted that the two cashiers would fail to direct traffic, they would then get upset when everyone was in one line and tell people in an annoyed tone that both sides where open. Upon entering the other side I then had to wait several minutes for them to finish with the customers on one side so it felt like it was under staffed. However this could have just been bad timing so I will give customer relations a 4 star. This brings me to food quality: IMO the food was less then tasty, a lot of it was bland, and even for a buffet I would start off with a 3 star, but then lower it to a 2 star on account it costs 16 per person if you get a drink, and when compered to other options in the immediate area and around town, I think my money would have been better invested elsewhere.
