We paid $22 in the app before entering the restaurant. We needed to use the restroom quickly and starting walking to it. “Bathrooms are for paying customers only” said the girl at the register. No “sorry”, no “welcome to Wendy’s”- no welcome at all.
Knowing I just paid them $22 online, I stared at her for a second, said “ok”, and then proceeded to the bathroom anyways. She called out and insisted the bathroom is for paying customers only. I came back to her and let her know we paid online. No apology- she only said “you need the key”. She unlocked the bathroom for us and while my 5 year old was using the bathroom, we found out they were out of toilet paper. It took two employees over 5 minutes to replace it. The entire time another customer stood at the counter waiting for their order to be taken.
You probably lose more revenue policing the bathroom at the inconvenience of paying customers than you would earn by training your employees to provide better customer service.
Also, when we entered the restaurant there was no one eating in the dining area, no one in line, very few people in the drive-thru, and the dining area was a wreck with food on the floor at several tables. You might advise your employees to clean the dining area and ensure the locked bathroom is stocked when they have nothing else to do.
On top of all of this, our order was wrong and had to be corrected.

Read moreI placed an order through the mobile app and chose drive through pick up. I arrived at the restaurant and was told to pull up to the window. When I got to the window, they told me my food was handed out to somebody else. They kept telling me that they couldn't do anything about it despite it being an error on their part. They kept saying it was a grub hub order, but it wasn't. I told them there wasn't an option for a refund or anything, and I would just like to receive my food. They kept saying once the food leaves, they can't remake it. The food left with someone that wasn't me. I then called customer support, to which they said they couldn't find my order, despite me having the order number. They told me they couldn't do anything and to call the location I was already at. So I did. I had to call them 4 times before they picked up. When they did, they still said they could not remake my food. I said I had my receipt, my order number, and the date and time the order was placed and if I could please have my food. The person said he would ask, and he forgot to mure his microphone. A woman in the back loudly said she wasn't going to remake it. Then the mic muted, and for several minutes I was left like that until they hung up. I had to call back 18 more times before someone answered, and they still refused to remake the food they gave away to...
Read moreThis is the only Wendy's in town and for that, I am sad. This place has extremely fast service overall. I can say that the drive through is about as narrow as you can legally build a car, so keep that in mind. Simple in and out service and the good food that Wendy's has to offer. Dining in on the other hand, has something to be desired. Two things stick out to me in a bad way here. For one, the location has these really silly looking small tables strewn about in no particular design in mind. This is seriously something that can only be understood if you go there. The tables look and feel small, but the chairs are small too, so it kinda works I guess? It's strange, and it's something that probably only bothers me. The second thing is the issue with drinks. There is no self service drink station in this restaurant. This is 2018 and you will need to go to the front cashier (after they are done dealing with the customer) just to get a refill. It's seriously something that should be changed for customer service sake. Other than that, the place is decently clean, and usually pretty busy. I will say that the area this restaurant is in, is sort of rough. So the crowd in the restaurant can be a bit rugged.
