Rating is for the store itself not the staff: The store its self is super nice and clean. The prices are way different online vs in store so make sure you’re checking and getting the best deal.
On a side note though: I will say Cashier 2001972 is not cut out for customer service she was super rude for absolutely no reason. Maybe she had a bad day I don’t know but either way she shouldn’t be customer facing if she is going to treat people the way she did us. We ordered online for pickup came inside went to grab a few things that I forgot online. We noticed the prices for what we ordered were considerably cheaper in store. We went up to ask if they could do a price adjustment and match in store prices. She gave us attitude said no we would have to cancel the order and buy in store. Which we were like okay cool. We didn’t give any push back whatsoever, we didn’t question it or anything. But for the prices we would save it was worth it so we went and got the stuff we ordered online took it up there and I guess that pissed her off idk but she was being rude that we decided to do it and it made the whole transaction awkward. I was just going to cancel the pick up which was what she originally told me to do but then she made us complete the pick up instead just to turn around and return it. Honestly we didn’t care either way she wanted to do it. I was only going to cancel it online because I didn’t want to bother her more then what it seemed we already had. That experience alone was enough for me. I’ll stick to ordering off Amazon unless I can make it to the...
Read moreThe only reason I give one star, is due to the manager on duty, Robert. He did his job and assisted my friend and I to the fullest. However, the young lady charged with helping customer's in the print area, should be trained. Thick, unkempt appearing hair, covered her name tag. She completed assisting the folks in front of us, however, refused to assist us. Her excuse was, she had print jobs ahead of us that had to be completed and we can come back in two hours. I asked if customer's in front of her were less important than whatever she had going on, she said yes. Really! Than proceeded to immediately assist the people who were behind us. I've been in customer service for over 25 years. This would not be acceptable. My friend and I had our purses stolen, and needed to have documents printed before end of business. We truly required help! WE WILL NEVER GO TO ANY STAPLES AGAIN. If this is the type of person you employ, I don't need the rudeness. I have also advised friends and family of this slight towards us. You have lost the business of many....
Read moreReturned to Lawton on 7 July 23 in the afternoon from an appointment at the Oklahoma Tax Commission office in OKC with a state issued card. I was told at the appointment this card could be laminated. Clerk in Lawton Staples took one look at the card said we can't laminate those. After inquiring if he had a state or staples directive stating it could not be laminated, the clerk tossed the card on the counter and terseley replied he would not laminate it. Salespeople and clerks should be taught some form of customer courtesy when not providing a service that generates income to a business. There is a way to handle any situation and this clerk failed at it. It's unfortunate but Staples in Lawton will not be my first choice for future purchases of any kind. Got what I needed laminated across the street. If an employee cannot provide an income generating sale for something quite routine, please train them to articulate why that sale cannot be made. I could take an explanation. In the absence of that, I'll...
