This is not my first time having an issue with this location.
My first time, I had ordered two pizzas for a little get together I was having with a small group of friends. I had made sure to order it around 40 minutes before I knew we would want to be eating, but when I had gotten 0 updates on my order at those 40 minutes, I decided to call the location just to see if my app was giving me incorrect info.
Was met with a rude employee on the other side who was very aggressive, and was informed that they had just received a large order and would get to mine as soon as possible. I tried to be understanding about this, but we received our pizzas, finally, another hour after I had called them. Was extremely disappointed, but tried to excuse it as they had told me it was a busy day.
Tonight I ordered a small pizza for myself after I had gotten home from work, expecting it to not be too busy or take too long as it was pretty late. Realized very quickly that they had a price requirement for delivery, so I made sure to be just within it. I did not tip on the app as I had cash that I had wanted to use instead cause I had heard from friends who worked at other locations that drivers get to keep cash tips.
Overall it took around 30 minutes to start my order, prep it, and bake. At this point I was expecting it to only be a short while longer, but apparently a quality check takes 30 minutes alone. Seems a little ridiculous to me, especially for a small plain cheese pizza.
At this point I was frustrated as it was already taking much longer than I had anticipated, and what the app had even said was the estimated time. I was frustrated, hungry, and tired. Honestly just wanted to get my food to eat quickly and be able to go to bed.
No longer was feeling as though my tip was fair based off how everything had been going, and once again, was just wanting to go to bed at that point, but couldn’t cancel more order through the app.
Ultimately when I received the food, it was lukewarm at best, and there was a very lovely message left on the receipt.
After having worked in all different kinds of part time jobs, I am firm in my belief that a tip is earned, it should not be expected. You should strive to be efficient and give good quality on all orders, regardless of if someone tipped more or less. You do not know the entire circumstances of the person ordering.
Truly disappointed by this location. I will note that I have had some good experience with the South...
Read morePart of the bad experience is our fault. We ordered pizza on the app at 10 am to be ready at 5 pm. Only problem was the girl who ordered forgot to put the time at 5 pm, so the pizzas got made right away. When I went to pick up the pizzas at 5, they had a hard time finding the order. They finally found it and we left. About 10 minutes away from the store I check the first pizza and a quarter of it was missing! As well, the pizzas were all hard and cold. They'd been sitting out for 7 hours! So instead of an employee calling the number to see if we were going to pick up the $50 worth of pizza (which we didn't realize was ready), they instead ate a few slices. When we called in about the missing slices, they acted like "well what do you want us to do about it?" They couldn't even own up to it. They wouldn't refund the money for that one either. Instead they said the only thing they could do was credit my phone number for a new pizza for a later date. Problem was, the person who paid was different from the number we were calling from, and they wouldn't change the phone number that was being credited. So the person who paid got screwed pretty bad. I doubt she will order from here again because it was such bad customer service.
If they had wanted to get it right, they should have called us within an hour of us not picking it up.
Btw, the pizza wasn't very good at 7 hours old. And the garlic chicken alfredo pizza only had cheese on about half the pizza (which we found out the age after we had all tried some and just all hoped we wouldn't get food poisoning) (I snapped a picture of the pizza while in...
Read moreIt was real sad. We used to order dominos all the time when we lived in salt lake, then we switched to Papa John's out of convenience to our location when we moved and we've stuck with them ever since through several moves. Fast forward to now, literally the only reason we did dominos last night was because of the 50% off deal and I'm not sure it was worth it. I ordered it to arrive at 8:30, it didn't get here until 8:55, The crust was pathetic, couldn't even taste the sauce, and what toppings? There were barely any on both pizzas. The over all flavour was definitely the worst I've ever had from a pizza that didn't have cheddar on it (Cheddar doesn't belong on pizza, stop doing it! It's disgusting!) The only thing they had over Papa John's pizza was the ham, because it wasn't cut up in those nasty little cubes. So I don't know if it's just this location that didn't taste good, or if dominos in general has gone downhill since we had it last, but I'm not ordering dominos again anytime soon. If you want quality, order Papa John's or Papa Murphy's or pretty much anything else. Even little Caesars is better because at least they have no illusions about what they offer...... Papa John's, forgive my betrayal, it won't...
