Greek Palace — Restaurant in Layton

Best Greek food in the state hands down!!! The actual country of Greece should erect a shrine in this restaurant's honor. I've been a customer for well over a decade and have celebrated every meal. I usually buy for my family of 6 and this is our favorite of all places to eat. The food is always fresh, consistent in flavor and quality, and the employees always greet you with a smile. If only every other establishment could keep this type of consistency. The employees have your back with ordering to help you get the most bang for your buck. There isn't enough good I can say about this place and take it from a picky... health conscious person like me... you can't go wrong with anything off the menu. The food is delicious. It's well prepared, and tastes fresh. I found the lemon fries to be a bit on the "okay" side, but still tasty. My main gripe - hence 4 stars - is how hard it was to communicate with the owners. They're kinda hard to understand due to a thick accent, which is cool - the main issues is that it would seem they don't understand us. This makes for a challenging experience. The numbered menu on the right has 10 meals with pictures, but no prices. When we asked for prices, he said that the list to the left had the prices yet the names didn't match up and it didn't make sense, plus that list was more than 10 items. It's confusing and of amateur quality. So the only way to know how much it costs is to ask about each meal, which revealed that the guy was wrong. This place is a diamond in the rough, for sure. I was skeptical about Greek Mall Food, but I am so blown away from this place, that I think about it every day now around lunch and dinner time.

This place needs to be on City Weekly for BEST Greek in the STATE. I have had the so-called, "best Greek in state", several times.

But this place blows them all out of the water!!!!!!!!!!! There is no comparison. The level of "extra" these guys put into each and every thing they serve, is very exciting and delicious. From the Tzatziki Sauce to the Salad Dressing, everything is TOP NOTCH.
