First, the actual ice cream is great, a bit pricey but good. I went through the drive thru, placed my order and specifically asked for lids on my order because I was driving. I get to the window, leave a tip because I know what it's like to work customer service in food, and patiently wait. My first one is done and the girl hands it to me, already dripping, and no lid so I had to ask for one. The lid doesnt even fit on the cup, so I got a napkin from her, a single flimsy napkin. My next order she already had a napkin around it as it was melting down the sides and was hurriedly putting on a lid because she didn't do so originally. The lid didnt fit well either unless I pushed down on it and made it drip and overflow even more. So I race home just trying to keep it from making a mess in my car and both orders are just a melting mess at this point and the napkins did nothing to help. I had to put one in a bowl because of how messy it got. Just a little more care from the employee would've gone a long way by either double cupping the order, providing more napkins, or even just properly putting a lid on; again, I came through the drive thru, it should be common sense to put lids on orders when going through that way. Read moreThe food and atmosphere for the most part is always great but I think the owners should definitely focus on training their staff. I get that they are teenagers but constantly getting my order wrong and then providing horrible customer service when I try to get my order fixed has been a common issue.
Example situation- I ordered an Italian ice with ice cream in the drive thru. I was charged for the wrong size, at the window the manager said she’d have to refund my order then re-charge my card. To save her the trouble I said just give me the size I paid for……… came home and no Ice cream was in my order.(1st world problems, I know) The problem was when I called them and asked them about the order I was told that I “should have known they don’t do ice cream in that size”(the size I didn’t order)………..anyways when I asked for a refund, the MANAGER said “you’d have to come back, idk if you ate it or not”. Hahahahaha just terrible customer service

But it's all about the food, and I would not come back for the food, unless friends or family dragged me here.
The "Italian ice" is not real Italian ice but sorbet (which imho is fancier than Italian ice - which I consider a cheap ice cream truck novelty - so why lie?). The flavors don't taste like themselves or even a good rendition of the artificial version of that flavor.
The custard isn't very custardy or even very good soft serve. I guess I'm spoiled by all the nitro ice cream, which is super smooth and silky, that has become ubiquitous everywhere, though I haven't tried any of the nitro ice cream shops in Utah. I also miss the soft-serve mom and pop that closed down in my hometown that is the bar against which I measure all soft-serve, and only one other place ever lived up to it (but unfortunately closed during...
