Sweet Shenanigans Cupcakery — Restaurant in Leacock Township

Well, it's a very cute little shop and I love to support small business. So the cupcake cake part is amazing, moist, perfectly sweetened and perfect texture. They look beautiful, and the icings were very sweet. Lots of sugar is typical for a buttercream. They are very expensive, so I was a little disappointed in the caramel and coffee iced ones because the icing tasted bitter and burnt like the caramel was burned. Paired with the cupcake it actually had a good flavor, but the caramel in the icing itself was definitely burnt. I hope that was just a messed up batch and it's not just made that way.

They are super cute though, these would be perfect for a kids birthday party. Perosnally I'm not a huge fan of buttercream though. I wish more places would make marangue...

This is a small bake shop in Intercourse, PA The owner is a very sweet lady who makes very sweet cupcakes. I just tried the Triple Chocolate and Lemon Blueberry cupcakes. Both were delicious! The Lemon Blueberry is not super sickening sweet like some others are at other places. There were plenty of blueberries throughout the cake and the buttercream frosting was perfect.

The Triple Chocolate cupcake was definitely one of those 'death by chocolate' deals. It was very good and definitely for super chocolate lovers. For me, it was almost too much! It's very good but make sure that you have a glass of milk to go with this one.

Stopped in with my daughter while on vacation. We were so impressed with this amazing little spot and it’s owner who was as sweet as her creations. We got a half dozen and they were all magnificent. We are a family of bakers and know a great product when we see and taste one. All the toppings are fresh, you can see with your own eyes the process and effort that goes into each sweet treat. The salted caramel rocked my world while the lemon blueberry made me feel like I was home. I highly recommend sweet shenanigans if your in town and are craving a delicious balance of flavors and enjoy well made, creative cupcakes which is hard to find out there. Great job!...
