My family stopped here on our way home from an extended stay in the Best Western across the street. I'm glad we did! They not only have coffee and other related specialty drinks, they also have baked goods and ... ice cream. Hershey's, to be exact.
The Caramel Machiato was mind blowing. It is -NOT- what you think, but trust them and let them make it their way. They took their time explaining that their CM is not like another popular coffee chain's version, and they rightly assumed I was originally looking for the "normal" version. I'm glad I didn't get it.
I wanted a hot coffee, but I also wanted their take on my favorite drink. So I wound up getting a Cafe Americano and their version of the Caramel Machiato. I'm so glad I did.
If you are at all interested in inexpensive, deliciously unique takes on the standard coffee house drinks, then go here and get their Caramel Machiato! I promise you won't be disappointed.
Oh yeah, there is also a large knitted/quilted(?) checkerboard on one of the tables for the kids - young or old.
I'm already thinking of when we can go back. This place put an excellent cap on a...
Read moreTheir price point for their subs is $8 $7 in change and $13 for a large, they put a couple pieces of finely chipped meat in there there's nothing but bread lettuce and tomato. For this price you can go to the kling house, for a nice sit-down meal, the water wheel is right across the street excellent food, and you'd Payless for a full meal at the water wheel at the best western across the street then you would this embarrassing sub that they make at the village Cafe. You want good coffee there's a coffee shop that has music straight up the street right across from kitchen kettle, they play music every Friday and Saturday night and their food actually has meat in it, in kitchen kettle there's a restaurant in kitchen kettle they too make excellent food that would beat the price of these overpriced subs that they make at this village Cafe it's absolutely shameful and they didn't seem embarrassed by...
Read moreI grabbed coffee with a friend this morning and my 7m old daughter knocked over my friends full latte cup, coffee went everywhere. When we went to ask for paper towels the woman behind the register got a bucket and rag and helped us clean it up. She also made my friend a new drink, free of charge. She probably didn’t really think much about this, she was doing her job and displaying good customer service. But i keep thinking about it - I haven’t had great experiences with the customer service recently at a few other local coffee shops. This employee could have just given us paper towels to clean it up ourselves and asked us to pay for another drink, since technically it was our fault. But she went out of her way to help us and be kind. I want to thank latte luv for teaching good customer service and hope that other local coffee shop would learn from latte...
