This is a below average Chick-fil-A location. Some things I've come to expect from Chick-fil-A the brand: the food is mediocre and boring, but the service is usually what sets the brand apart.
This location is below average in regards to service and atmosphere. The food is fine, so if you are just getting drive-thru, you should be fine. Though it should be noted that they have messed up my condiments before, so make sure to check the bag.
The atmosphere is really lacking. It's disappointing to see boxes of random supplies in the dining room taking up space. Usually, when I come in, multiple tables are dirty. The toddler play area is always somewhat dirty. Today, I saw a discarded bandaid and food stuff on the floor. Other days, I've seen empty cups and containers. Suffice it to say that cleanliness is not a top priority at this location.
The service is lacking, too. Today, I stood by the counter with an empty cup and a toddler on my shoulder. I had wanted to get a refill of water. After waiting on two people in line, the cashier looked at my toddler and turned her back to work on other things. I waited 3-4 minutes at the counter. The cashier and the other 4 employees milled about on tasks, occasionally glancing over at me, but not saying anything. A couple of employees walked by carrying food to others, but when they walked back, they walked past me. Another customer walked up to the other side of the counter. This customer may have been a former employee at the restaurant because a couple of the employees started chatting with him. After another 30 seconds or so, I decided to just leave. I'm not sure why I was ignored, but it is what it is. It's not the end of the world, but it's not the attention to service that I expect from the brand.

Read moreThis Location has gone down in Customer Service by a mile. I have eaten at this location 4-5 times a week for the last 5 years. This store thrives only by Catering orders to Clear Falls and it shows that they only care about there catering side, because they always use every seat possible at the store to have employee meetings or Catering stuff scattered in the back everywhere. All the good seating is never available because of this. They constantly only leave one person on register (Ms. Diane mid day, who is actually really great). But, when they get a line, they never open a 2nd register. I have waited over 20 minutes inside to order on 2 occasions in the past 2 months. (Only 2 ppl ahead of me during these times). The Grain buns on the grilled chicken sandwiches never have the top bun properly toasted, as in - it never is. I've just come to accept this terrible quality of the years. The Operator (which isn't the owner, Chic Fil A Corporate owns all stores I'm pretty sure) used to Manage the Kemah Store too, or maybe still does. He has not had any suggestions cards in the wall hanger in 2 years - - so, you cannot even leave store suggestions to help them turn their service around, and let them know where they are failing in specific areas. My last straw that stopped me from coming back to this location, was them having no trays to provide me (2 weeks ago), and I was forced to eat off the table like an animal. Unacceptable! Read moreI have never received worse service from a Chick fil A then I did when I came to this Chick fil A for lunch. Chris and Autumn took my order and seemed very irritated by me and my friend. Then Chris never asked what sauces for our chicken nuggets so I told him that I wanted ranch and my friend said she wanted Chick fil A sauce and Polynesian sauce. We went and sat down to then hear Chris, Autumn, and another employee speaking very loudly and poorly about us as well as about other customers. We finally received our food and we got medium fries when we had ordered large fries as well as my friend's Dr pepper was spilled all over the tray because they overfilled the drink. My friend went up to Autumn to complain and ask for the large fries we had ordered and let her know that they had overfilled the cup and Autumn offered to switch the tray but not the fries. When my friend said we paid for large fries, she then took the tray, took the fries off the tray, and put those fries back in the serving area. We started eating our food and everything was fine until I realized they filled my entire cup with ice and barely put any lemonade. The only upside to this was an interaction I had with an employee name Alana. She was fantastic. I requested a refill for my lemonade and requested my friend get a new cup and a refill for her Dr pepper because they had spilled it all over the sides and it was sticky.
