I normally don't write bad reviews nor do I like too, but I'm getting very fed up with this place.
My fiancé and I come here quite often. We live right down the road from here so it is very convenient for us. We have given this place the benefit of the doubt SEVERAL times. But this is just getting absolutely ridiculous, the workers here have been getting more and more lazier and ignorant. Let me explain. Almost every time we pull up to the drive-thru speaker, the girl on the intercom sounds extremely bitter and unhappy; does not greet us nor does she sound welcoming. I don't expect upbeat and joyful every time because I get working in food industry isn't the greatest nor the best paying. But I at least expect the same respect I give out, as in talk to me with manners as well. When we begin to order, after every single item we order she always says, "is that all?" in a rude and ignorant way. Point being, we are spoken to as if we are burdening her. Which is completely unprofessional considering it is her job to take peoples orders who come thru and order food or drinks. After waiting in the drive thru window for about 15 minutes; 50% of time, we have something missing or our order is messed up in some way. This used to never be like this. We don't ever have a complicated order nor do we ever order a whole lot. And lately the food has been tasting extremely stale, dry, or overcooked.
Our most recent experience, as this has been occurring more frequently, is this place turns their lights off and "closes" earlier than closing time. My fiance and I just wanted a drink from there and he left the house at 11:40pm, as they do not close until midnight. He drove over there and got there at 11:43pm (as I previously said that we live right down the road). When he got there, they had all the lights turned off except for the ones inside. He said he pulled up to the drive thru and tried speaking (he said he heard the static still like the microphone was still on) and no one answered him. After waiting for about 5 minutes he just came home. I enjoy Sonic, but their customer service has been absolutely disgusting and disappointing. So honestly at this point, I would rather just drive the extra few minutes to the other one off of 518.
This sonic needs to find better employees; ones who aren't lazy and ignorant or they are going to run out of business sooner or later. I mean, this place already has a 3.5 rating, in my opinion, it needs...

I try not to write bad reviews because businesses do have bad days but here we are… third time is certainly the charm! Ordered our food online, picked it up and got home and couldn’t had been any worse!! No where on the order did is say onions, but did get a whole chopped up onion on both of our footlongs. I ordered light mustard on one and had a bottle of mustard on each! Called about seven times if not more with no answer! The girl that came to the vehicle the first time said “sorry we are super busy”!!! Ummm girl there is one other car in a stall and it is an employee vehicle because nobody is even in it! Take the order back to get it remade and having to wait due to them not answering the phone and once again sorry we are busy! Geeezzzz I come from restaurant business and if you consider my only vehicle being busy with the other employees standing there then there is certainly an issue!! This is probably why this Sonic has gone down not to mention management! Time before I ordered a breakfast sandwhich with no egg, the lady said they can’t sale anything with egg on it… I repeated myself and said I understand but I don’t want egg so therefore there isn’t a sale with egg on it, she repeated in a rude way I can’t sale ANNYYYTHHHINNGGGF with egg on it… okay ma’am I’m not getting egg, it is cheese and bacon ONLY… she said pull around. Once I got to the drive thru window she sling the window open and said you’re not understanding…. NOTHING with egg on it can be sold there is a recall on eggs… umm okay you’re not understanding NO EGGGGG!! She then clarified that the GM told them due to having youngsters that don’t listen they are not allowed to sale anyhow items that would even come with egg even though it was ordered with no egg! She flat out said that the youngsters are pretty much dumb and would put egg in an item even though it states no egg! Fine whatever at this point I was in my HANGRY stage and told her French toast sticks, I get them and they are cold!! And very first time, I ordered….. you get the understanding right?!? Never again! This Sonic is now ranked at the bottom of the pole.. the Sonic on 518 is just as bad, can only take cash half the time so they say! Not to mention the roach that was in my drink...
Read moreThe experience of service I had there was verbal and assault. I cannot believe that I waited at one of the stops and press the button no one responds. The button was working. It was not broken or anything, so I got off my vehicle and went to press the button at the front, I seen a Hispanic lady. She looked like she was in her late forties to 50s with black hair dark complexion hair in a ponytail she looked at me very ugly and rude, I tried to get her attention, but she wasn’t attending to me so I went to the drive-through. I walked there standing there. She opens the window and says yes I here to pick up my order this is sonic you do work here right she got upset slam the window at me. A car was heading to the window so I had to walk out the way and I stood in front of the facility where no one is allowed only the employees I stood there waiting for my food. She took even longer as she finally Gave me my food. She hand me the drink and pushes the bag to my chest, which that was an assault to me and I told her what was her name she wasn’t even wearing a name badge. There is a camera there. I hope they can look into this matter. This restaurant is very very ugly, and I noticed that there was a black Africa. American lady who was coming into work, she was actually cussing and saying profanity language to someone on her phone before coming into work and the Lady who assaulted me the Hispanic lady And the African-American lady look like a manager they were friends as she was walking in. This is a ridiculous unprofessional store. Especially the Hispanic lady I don’t know her name.
