Jersey Mike’s Subs — Restaurant in League City

I live two seconds away from this jersey Mike’s so it is the one that I frequent but now that I’m about to move, I can share my experience every time I go in there I’m never greeted. It doesn’t matter who it is. It’s just straight silence and then today when I went to pick up my order, I was not greeted by the boy at the counter who normally works so I had to say what I was there for cause his back was turned, even though I was the only customer in there, but some other employee was just on the phone, staring at me and I know they’re about to close but they still had like 45 minutes left of being open and running so I tell him I’m there for a pick up order. He says nothing. He just handed me my stuff so I just turned and walk out of the door and then he kind of like petty Says to have a great night, which workers normally do when they’ve given you poor service and then they’re offended that you just returned their energy. Jersey Mike’s has really good food and I’ll be able to go to a different location after tonight, but they need to teach the little kids that work there. I don’t know if they’re highschoolers or what it is to speak to everyone not just old white men, but to speak to everyone and to just have a normal customer...

First Visit: I called my order ahead for take out. They waited until I got there to inform me that their system had been down all day and they could only accept cash. All I had was a gift card and a debit card. They could have avoided everyone’s inconvenience by just communicating to begin with.

Second Visit: I order my sandwich and he asks me what I want on it. I say “all of the veggies.” Next thing I know he’s heavily dumping vinegar all over my sandwich. I remind him that I said “veggies.” He removes the veggies from the sandwich begrudgingly and proceeds as if the meat and bottom bread aren’t now soaked in vinegar. I asked him to start over with no vinegar on my sandwich and he got an attitude about it when he was the one who didn’t listen and made the mistake to begin with, so I decided I wouldn’t be spending my money there and walked out.

Seems like I’d be stupid to give this place a third chance. It’s a shame because I really like Jersey Mike’s but I’m not going to be treated...

The dedicated register employee was grabbing sandwiches and wrapping them. Gross. When he did it to our sandwiches, I pointed out the sanitary flaw and left without our food. Last time I visit that location. We then went to Subway a few doors down and they handled the food and money in a sanitary way. Came back a year later, nothing has changed. Still had the register person collecting money and using the same contaminated gloves to pick up your sandwich and wrap it. This time I asked the sandwich maker to wrap my sandwich or hand it to me so her contaminated gloves would not touch my sandwich. He did it with an attitude and she had a bad attitude as well. The owner of this establishment needs to train his employees to quit spreading disease. I will check aging soon and see if any procedural changes have been made. Stay...
