I wanted to start my Saturday off with one of Shipleys delicious ice coffees that I had heard so much about and a couple dozen donuts. Well to my surprise I stopped at the one and only Shipleys on the planet that doesn't sell them. The rude lady at the drive-up window was the one that informed us of this, offering no other options. She just blankly looked at us after telling us the news. Now before you think we'll I was just upset about them not offering ice coffee no not at all. This was never going to make or break my day because I had never tasted them anyway. Plus I would have just order my donuts no problem. I don't know what the special ingredient is they use or some special technique but I can honestly say not all Shipley glazed donuts are the same.. The hot glazed donuts from this location taste better than all other locations I've visited over the years including the one a block from my house.. Read moreI was really disappointed with my experience at Shipley's yesterday morning. I witnessed a cashier treat a young mother very poorly just because her card declined at checkout. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch. We all know that card declines can happen for various reasons, even when funds are available—it's just part of life. Instead of handling it discreetly, the cashier's behavior was rude and entirely unprofessional.
