Food was disgusting. PLEASE READ. We ordered jerk chicken and sweet corn and while ordering the chicken we asked if it was white or dark meat and the woman taking our order specifically said it was white meat. We received our food about 6-7 minutes after ordering and I asked for the corn I ordered since I did not see it in the bag. She quickly responded saying it was in the bag. I go to the car and before I pull off there is no corn in the bag, the meat was dark meat and it is hard as a rock, and the bread was literally wonder bread from the super market. The rice that was served on the side was served with actual peas, not pigeon or red beans which is normally served by an actual Jamaican restaurant. The one thing that was good was the corn. Coming from a Caribbean woman, this is far from authentic, very big scam. Nothing was appetizing. Very disappointed. (Also the owner is not Jamaican don’t believe...
Read moreIt's just OK. I was a bit disappointed after reading the reviews, I expected more. We were staying in the area and, being from Texas, wanted to try the local BBQ. The meat was over smoked, like it had been sitting in the smoker way too long, and the ribs were not very tender. Same with the turkey. The coleslaw and beans tasted and looked like they were bought at a Sams in bulk or something, they did not seem like they made them. However, the service was great, and the pit boss a very likeable guy, and the prices were good. Would I stop there again? Probably, but I think I would try to get there...
Read moreI was so excited for dinner. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Not by the food itself, but by the service. The woman was incredibly slow, asked no questions and we were given the wrong things. My husband was in a hurry and didn't check, but because we weren't served what we ordered I wasn't even able to be able to enjoy the meat- he had clearly asked for no bread and both were served as sandwiches. We wanted the pound of meat. My husband said nothing about sandwiches. It doesn't matter how good the food is if the food is inedible because the workers choose not to listen or ask any clarifying questions. It is close to closing now and there was a line, so we can't even go back and rectify...
