11WORTH LIQUORS — Local services in Leavenworth

This is a great liquor store. It has a lot of variety & quality beverages. On that basis, I would recommend it.

However, on 21 Nov at around 1752, I purchased a bottle of excellent wine & a single serve margarita bottle. The cashier, a large man wearing a Harley t-shirt, denied my military discount when shown Military ID because, he said, "It's only for active duty."

That is NOT what the sign on the building says. It is also NOT a rule that another cashier followed as I was given my military discount for my purchase that day.

My conclusion is that either the sign on the building should reflect that discounts are only given to Active Duty service members or that particular cashier needs further training in dealing with his military & veteran customers.

I intend to continue patronizing your business. I will, in the future, try not to engage with that particular cashier. Whether it was lack of training or some personal animus on his part that was the reason for refusing a discount to a military member(something that his employer promises with signage on the building) his behavior almost ruined a very good day.

If he happens to be the only cashier on duty when I attempt to make a purchase, you won't have my business that day, and if I do attempt at some point in the future to make a purchase from him & he again refuses to give me my Military Discount, you will lose my...

I stumbled upon this place during my visit to town in search for a bottle of whiskey that I can’t find at home. The store owner was super friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door. What really blew me away was the customer service I received. I was offered a sample the bottle of bourbon I was interested in before buying it, which made my decision so much easier and added a personal touch to the experience.

They are awesome been coming here for years. I miss Mr. Wilcotte but every new owner has been great. But this last one is so freaking awesome family oriented, cares about the community and will help anyone who is down and out. This man is a valuable asset to the Leavenworth community.
