Acapulco Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Leavenworth

This was my first time trying this restaurant. It was right off post. When I arrived, I didnt see any customers. I was greeted by waiter and asked for to go menu. (I had already looked on their website to check prices and what they offered) He said it would take about 15min. It took about 10min for him to bring the food out. Spent almost $50 for 3ppl (that includes 20% tip) I ordered Alambres del Sol $12.99, Carnitas $10.99, and Mar y Tierra $12.99. Each of the meals came with 3 tortillas and chips/dip. Pros: decent amount of food, a nice variety, it looks very tasty. Taste wise,it wasnt bad or great. (Carnitas)It was okay. For ppl that dont like spices it would be good. I prefer more spices (not spicy) My son had the Alambres del Sol and he said it was very good. It smelled delicious. And my husband had the Mar y Tierra..he said it was pretty, just alittle bland for his tastes, but he added some hot sauce and was happy. I would recommend trying it, I'm going back to try other things...

My friend and I ordered off door dash, and it was very fast. In hindsight, it should have been a precursor for what kind of quality we were about to get. We both got the California burrito, one steak and one chicken. We also got rice, however, we aren’t sure if they put two servings in one box or didn’t give us the other order. Upon opening one box has all the cheese leaking out of the side. The salsa that came with chips was not salsa. It literally tasted as if they poured a can of marinara sauce into a cup. The chicken, steak, and rice were all bland and the meat was rubbery. The tortilla was mushy, and the burrito itself was huge. It also looked as if there wasn’t a bottom to the tortilla; like they made an upside down burrito. All I could think about while eating was that I hope I don’t get food poisoning. The only good thing I can say was that our door dash driver was very nice. This was our first and last experience...

Horrible experience 😪 ordered tacos and enchilada meals with Margaritas. Food bland. Rice looked like they poured a can of tomatoe sauce over it. Beans were thick not the consistency of what I saw from other customers' reviews. The Presentation was not appealing as portrayed by other customers. There were no other patrons in restaurant but a family that could of been their relatives more attentive to them than us. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and it looked like it came from a premixed bottle poured over ice and had poor service. I started to say something about service and food but husband said leave it alone. Will never spend my money in that establishment again 😠 mad because I should have went to Tampicos or went to Lansing for the food and service a whole lot...
