Wow, been wanting to go to big whiskeys for months! Finally got the opportunity to go, while my best friend was in town. Boy, was that a mistake. Wasted over an hour and half of our day. Once we got there and was waiting to be seated (5 minutes) we asked to be seated outside since it was a nice day. Right off the bat, that seemed to be an issue and the hostess had to go “find us a server.” Okay whatever, we move on. There was a couple little league baseball teams on the patio, no big deal to us. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before I had to go ask the hostess if she had found us a server because we hadn’t been waited on yet. The server came out and apologized, said she thought we were already helped (yes, because we have been helped with not even a drink on our table) no big deal, we ordered our drinks and told her we are ready to order our meal as well. We ordered 3 appetizers (nachos, potstickers, chicken bacon ranch fries) and a pound of boneless wings. THATS IT! After reading the reviews while waiting to be served, we noticed that not being helped was common here or waiting a while for their food. So once we ordered our food and saw the server go inside, we started a timer. We got our potstickers in about 15 minutes but I kid you not, we waited an hour, AN HOUR for the rest of our food, Before I asked our server to talk to a manager, mind you the server came and checked on us twice. Didn’t think to check on our food or anything? Mind you, while we are waiting a table of 8, EIGHT people that ordered whole meals, and came way after us was being served their food. The manager came out and I explained the situation he said he would go check on what was going on. He came back 9, NINE minutes later with our food and said he made it himself. Soooo if it took him, a single person 9 minutes to make 3 things then why did we wait an hour?! Once we did get our “fresh made food, by the manager” it was cold, the wings were good but everything else was cold and you could tell was not fresh… the manager said he would remove the three things from our bill… that didn’t happen, we still paid for the wings. I will not be going to the big whiskeys in Lebanon, ever again, but I’ll make the 1.5 hour drive to Springfield big whiskeys to...
Read moreWent here for dinner on 5/26/2025. The place was not busy at all with loads of open tables. They told us that we needed to wait 10 minutes for an open table. Once we were sat we were told by our waitress that we could order off of happy our for our appetizers, we thanked her and told her we would take a look and let her know. The next time that she came back we had decided on a happy hour appetizer and told her what we would like. She went to enter the our order and came back to tell us at 6:05 that we no longer were under happy hour and we would have to pay full price for the appetizer. I told her to forget it. Why bother mentioning happy hour if we weren’t eligible for it in the first place? We place our food order next, my husband a cheeseburger and I ordered a steak with a side salad. Our food came out in a decent time frame, the waitress demanded that I cut into the steak to decide if it was cooked appropriately. I cut into it and it seemed fine at first, after taking a few bites I realized the meat was incredibly tough and overcooked. The $33 ribeye that I ordered more so resembled a KC strip that was well done. My husband tried it and couldn’t even swallow his bite it was so bad. He wasn’t able to even eat most of his cheeseburger meal because his burger was so burnt. I sent my steak back and told them I’d rather order something different to go than chance another bad steak. My husband didn’t bother complaining about his cheeseburger even though he didn’t eat most of his meal. He had fries that came with his meal and had asked for a side of ranch which never came regardless of asking TWICE for some. The manager let me know that they would take the steak off our tab and replace it with the chicken wrap that I replaced it with. I told her that was fine. We got our bill and they had still charged me for the side salad that was a part of the steak meal. Now we’ve gotten home and I’ve decided to finally eat my dinner, the chicken wrap we had made to go, and the fries that came with it are absolutely raw. I doubt we will be back to this establishment. Our bill came out to be nearly $100, to justify spending that amount of money I expect...
Read moreI gave it two stars because the service was great. Our waitress was welcoming and very attentive; She checked in multiple times and brought anything we requested promptly. Unfortunately, the service can not make up for the food, which was awful. The wedge salad my girlfriend ordered came out with dangerously undercooked, if not completely raw bacon. It was unsafe to eat, so she requested a new salad without any bacon. I got the boom boom tacos, which sounded delicious when reading the menu. They came out completely drenched in sauce. It was advertised as Thai chili sauce; I can assure you it was definitely not Thai chili. It was more of a buffalo sauce, but whatever. It was the amount of sauce that was the real issue. If you’re going to go at it that strong with a sauce, you need to counter it with crisp greens and cabbage on top of the taco, which did not happen. I didn’t see any lettuce, but there was a pinch of cabbage under the shrimp, completely saturated with the sauce. I felt ill after eating one taco. I also ordered sweet potato fries. They came out limp, bland and room temperature. Idk I think maybe the kitchen staff needs...
