Jonesy´s Travel Center — Local services in Lebanon

Went there to eat today. We had a group of 7. After waiting for an hour for them to seat us the manager had the waitress come tell me that we would be waiting another hour. I asked if they could just give us two tables. The waitress went and asked and the manager said no. I said ok well we have two groups then group of 4 and group of 3 or 5 and 2 whatever you want to do. So we’ll just take two tables. Then the manager came over and proceeded to yell at me and tell me they were crowded, backed up, and that we won’t get service for at least another hour. Although we were the next to be served for the last hour but they seated several smaller groups in front of us. So why couldn’t they seat us? Not sure. Makes zero sense! I told this manager that it’s obvious she is stressed out and customer service is probably not the the job for her. Idc how crowded a place is. You accommodate to your customers and figure it out with a smile on your face. Learn to fake that smile if you have to. We ended up leaving as well as other groups of people that had been waiting bc the manager was refusing to seat anyone with groups over 5 people. Miserable waitress. Went in on a busy Saturday am- came over and asked if we wanted booth or table - there were several tables available that we could see as well as a booth at the entrance. As I am handicapped and have trouble with a booth, declined it when the manager told us that was what was available. Said we couldn't and asked for the community table - she said.no.My husband said we would be glad to share the table - she turned on her heels and rudely and unprofessionally said" sit where you want. Live in the area and wanted to check out the breakfast. Went on a Sun about 10 and was busy but not packed. Nice big and clean restaurant, but then the food came, my husband's cheese omelet was barely warm and my egg and cheese sandwich was missing the cheese. By the time our waitress came back by it had been at least 5 min. She said I'm so sorry, took it back to the kitchen and returned it cold with a cold slice of cheese on top. Lol. How could she not tell, even if they didn't make me a new one they could have at least heated it up. The cashier asked how our meal was and while we don't usually complain we were honest, she took mine off the check. Did not get her name but she was very professional and felt bad for the service.
