Jonesys — Restaurant in Lebanon

On our trip to Lebanon today we wanted something different than our go-to restaurant. We found Jonesy's and we're, at first, taken back by the size, from the outside. Inside it was not as big as it seemed. Anyway, I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and as is the Ozarks custom, the bun was there just because it was a "sandwich". It looked delicious but I was a little worried that it would be dry based on the breading. It was VERY crispy and the pork was thin. But it was really good. Very moist, very tender. We also ordered the grilled chicken dinner and it was well seasoned and moist. The sides were ordinary. Nothing to write home about. As you might know, a Caesar salad does not come separate or in sections.All ingredients in a caesar salad are tossed as one including dressing. Although i was informed i had to substitute for iceberg lettuce i was fine. But. As for that I thought I was still going to get a caesar salad in its original preparation. But what I got was a salad with hard chicken pieces that you see on the side of the plate there was little to no actual meat. Little to no parm. With that what made me give one star and no tip. Because enter in the restaurant. I overheard employees talking rudely about other employees. Just an overall first time experience I wouldn't recommend. My wife and I both had the chopped steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and roll. The hot roll is so good you want to ask for a second one,; but being on a diet, I didn't. lol The chopped steak was delicious not sure if it was hand made; but it seemed to be. It didn't taste like a frozen pattie. The mashed potatoes either were blended very well or instant, either way they were delicious with the brown gravy. They do not salt anything my only thing against the food. Still one of the best places we've eaten in the road at a truck stop. Drivers, it's worth the time to stop in here and fill up your belly. 👍 My waitress was super nice; and the place was clean. Definitely...
