Me and my family wanted some good old fashion soul food. We drove from Nashville 30 MINUTE drive or so. I particularly wanted carbs before I started back on my Keto. After reading reviews I said we have to go. Well it was bitter sweet. They ran out of a lot of food items. NO GREENS UGGGH REALLY 😩 Not to mention the attack of flies that wouldn't leave us alone. GROSS😣 The server was sweet she was a Caucasian lady with glasses. I asked about sweet tea she said it was only 1 cup left. So I decided on a diet coke. Yuk no carbonation. After taking a better look at the drink list I noticed they had fruit tea. Hmmm why didn't she just say the sweet tea was out however offer me fruit tea. No worries the fruit tea was remarkable. Some of the best fruit tea I have ever had. Not to sweet either. It was delicious. THE FOOD I ordered: The meatloaf YUK the meat was cold. So they offered me fried chicken. Omg AMAZING. I also had cabbage WHEWWW TOO MUCH SALT. I didn't eat it. The Mac N Cheese was just ok. Nothing spectacular. My husbands loved the pinto beans. My son enjoyed the chicken as well. I would of preferred to eat at Arnold's or Silver Sams but wanted the best Soul food. This was way overrated. I'm a foodie I know good food. I come from a line of Black Grandmas soul cooking. Maybe it was just the wrong day. I will only stop by if I'm in that area. I was so disappointed. The chicken and fruit tea was...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite restaurant when it first opened. Now everytime I go its worse and worse. The owner is fabulous and he's a sweetheart but the employees are AWFUL! Today I stooped to order to go and in the middle of me ordering she turns around and starts talking to a coworker. Legit in the MIDDLE of the ordering. So stood and waited until they stooped talking and by then I had forgot what I had already ordered. And when she's typing it in the then turns AGAIN and starts talking to the coworker. That is HORRIBLE customer service you should NEVER interrupt especially while they are ordering about to spend their hard earned money !! I almost walked out and left. They also gave me NO silverware and NO straw so I couldn't even eat my food.I may never return after this. This is the second time I've had a horrible experience with...
Read moreWe just moved from Minnesota to Lebanon. We have only been in the area for about 24 hours and Lil Sista’s is the first restaurants we visited. I ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Hubby got the meatloaf, fried okra and coleslaw. Cornbread on the side of course. Let me tell you the food was amazing! Fried chicken so hot and crispy, greens with the pork with just the right seasoning, the meatloaf was moist and delicious and that slaw was bomb! Hubby said the okra was great and the corn bread was more like a fritter but so, so good! Please please please support your local businesses, and hit up Lil Sista’s. Your tummy...
