My family and I traveled from Murfreedboro to Lebanon to view the Christmas lights at the State Fairgrounds. After waiting in line to go though the lights we finished and on the way home decided to go to McDonalds because it was about the only place opened at 10:30 pm. Plus, my daughter in law stated McDonalds is always dependable. We went to place the order and no one presented a greeting, when I placed the order no one confirmed the order nor the amount, in fact, I said, "hello, hello, hello" four different times expecting some sort of response. I did not, when I pulled up to the window, I asked if the order could be repeated to check for accuracy being such a large order, I was met with hostility and treated very poorly. I was cussed at, yes, thats right cussed at, when I asked for the manager, she said she was the manager. There is no way this person was the manager. McDonalds would never hire someone to represent them the way this person treated me and my family. I was shocked and in such disbelief that we were being done this way. This treatment ruined a Christmas memory we can not ever get back. Without going into a lot of details, this Christmas is very special for us for lots of reasons and we will never get this time back. To have our outing tainted is just horrible. I could not believe what I was hearing. I was flabbergasted. I asked another lady who the Manger was and then I was told Jasmine F. I do not understand the verbal abuse my family and I experienced, it was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. I will be reaching out to corporate. This person clearly has no business serving the public, she needs to be terminated. Because of our treatment, I don't want anyone else to plan an event and ever go to this location and have someone treat them the way my family and I was treated. It is so sad this happened to us and a memory we can not get back. There is no price tag on that. I just do not understand why people behave in such poor manners. Why is this happening. Where is respect. Prices go up, shouldn't service? I do not...
Read moreAs we ate our breakfast inside the restaurant it was a different McD’s experience. Today was our first time visiting McD’s that is right off I-40, in Lebanon, TN. The building outside looked like any other McD’s establishment.
Then we walked inside. Now, I’ve never been incarcerated in a jail/prison, but I sure felt like a inmate in this particular place. The interior is very institutionalized, all the interior walls are dark in color, solid from the floor to the ceiling. There are 3 kiosks to the left. The 2 cashier registers are in front of a solid black wall. Minimal front desk staff. In fact all the staff were extremely busy, yet they were attentive when customers approached the registers. No smiles. But they were dishing out the orders in a timely manner.
One young caucasian man with a tattoo on the right side of his neck, that was waiting by the registers for quite sometime took a takeout bag at a moment that the staff returned to the kitchen. Clearly, the takeout order was not his, as he waited for the staff to turn their backs to steal the order.
There are metal cages on the interior windows & a walls had prison looking metal barriers dividing the cashier & interior tables. The metal screens was a alarming site.
The seating & table decor reminded us of a school cafeteria; better yet, looked like a prison mess hall.
In all, the establishment is a very cold & unwelcoming visit. Sorry I did take any photos. Rest assured, we won’t ever visit that particular McD’s...
Read moreI visited this location around 1 AM and almost didn’t stop because all visible lights—inside the building and in the parking lot—were off, giving the impression the restaurant was closed. Despite the dark exterior, I placed a mobile order through the app and paid in advance. The order included:
2 Double Cheeseburgers
1 Deluxe Cheeseburger (no pickles)
2 Spicy McChickens with cheese
1 Cheeseburger Happy Meal (extra fries, Coke)
We pulled up to the second window and waited over 30 minutes while the employee repeatedly stated they couldn’t find our order in the system. I had to show the confirmation on my phone multiple times. During this time, we watched staff bring food out to at least three other parked cars, all while a line of vehicles piled up behind us. Several customers ended up leaving entirely, and a few parked and went inside, looking clearly upset.
When we finally received the food, the quality was far below expectations. The burgers were stale, the buns were dry, and the McChickens were absolutely drenched in mayonnaise, with it leaking all over the wrappers. After taking a bite, I genuinely questioned if I might get sick from the meal.
For a McDonald’s located just 30 minutes from Nashville, especially on a busy Friday night, the lack of staffing, poor food quality, and organizational chaos are unacceptable. This location needs serious improvement in both customer service and...
