To be honest, I don't normally eat at Chipotle. Not for any particular reason. It's just usually not on my radar. But we were hungry and passing by when we were out for errands on Saturday and my husband likes the restaurant so we decided to stop. I've only been in a Chipotle two other times, many many years ago up in Illinois.
What I had ordered was good. I ordered the tacos and I didn't know how many it came with cuz it didn't really stay so that I could see on the menu. But for those of you that don't know you receive three tacos and they were hard shell. Whether or not they offer a soft shell. I do not know I was not given any options so I presume it's just the hard Shell. Though I must say they tasted better than what you get at other chain restaurant if that rings a bell for you haha. Also the ingredients I.e the meats etc also tasted better and fresher. I'm not sure exactly how the pricing goes but I had one chicken one and two of the carnitas which is the pork. Out of the two. I did prefer the pork but the chicken was good too and had just a tiny bit of a kick to it. I did like the option that you can put rice in it and you can customize your toppings. I do wish though that they had raw onion as a topping but that's just me. They have many Bean options but I don't like beans so that was A no for me. Whether or not it's the same price if you get all the same of one or if the price is customized. If you get different varieties I really couldn't tell you. Next time I'll have to ask more questions. I do wish there were some other types of sides or accompaniments to the meal because I really didn't want chips and salsa. And basically I was already having chips in the form of a hard shell taco. But all in all it tasted good and top three tacos are more than filling for me. In fact I gave one of them to my husband. He had the burrito bowl and really liked it. He likes all the toppings so for him it was a good choice. The young man that made our food was very nice and patient since I wasn't really sure what to order. I would say that a few of the tables could have been wiped down considering there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it wasn't even quite a regular lunch hour yet. But other than that, the food counter area seemed clean as did the outdoor dining and the floors. One thing I would note that guacamole to me seems to be a little bit on the pricey side. It's almost $3 for a dollop. I do understand that guacamole can be a little bit expensive, but to have one large spoonful on a burrito bowl seemed slightly more than I would normally be willing to pay. I think $2 is more than fair. But I know my husband likes it and didn't really look at the pricing on the menu. All in all a good experience and I feel that it's eating healthier And taste fresher than many other so-called fast food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDear Chipotle Management,
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service and quality of my recent order from your Leesburg location. My order, placed through the mobile app, was completed at 5:20 PM on June 9, 2024, with order number 688-V4. The experience I had was utterly unacceptable.
I ordered a Burrito Bowl with steak and red hot sauce on the side, yet neither the steak nor the hot sauce was included. Additionally, I ordered a Kids Meal with soft tacos, specifying cheese, brown rice, and chicken. The order arrived without the brown rice, and while the burrito itself was complete, the handling of my order was inexcusable.
To address the issue, I contacted your store at 6:45 PM and spoke with Cory, who identified himself as a manager. His behavior was immediately aggressive and disrespectful. Despite initially refusing to confirm my order number, he eventually admitted to having my order in front of him. His condescending tone and lack of concern were appalling. He merely offered to remake the order without addressing the root of the problem or offering a sincere apology.
In these challenging economic times, people cannot afford to have their orders mishandled. The blatant disregard for accuracy and customer service is unacceptable. Customers like myself and my wife, who eats at your establishment at least twice a week for work, deserve better. The decline in customer service and the failure to get things right the first time are deeply troubling.
I am demanding a full refund for my order due to this horrendous experience. Chipotle needs to understand that such negligence will result in a significant loss of customers, and you may have already lost one here. What is Chipotle going to do about this alarming decline in service quality?
I expect prompt action and a thorough response to address these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreoday, my husband and I drove 16 miles from The Villages to Chipotle in Leesburg, hoping for a decent meal. Iāve been there before and thought the food was okay, but todayās experience was so disappointing that Iāll never return.
First of all, the restaurant was disgusting. Food was scattered all over the floor, especially around the fountain drink area, and there was trash everywhereāboth on the floor and where you dispose of containers. It was so bad that after I ordered, my husband refused to eat there once he saw how filthy it was.
The tables hadnāt been cleaned for new customers, and the windows were streaked with dirt and stains. The entire place felt like it had been completely ignored. If they couldnāt be bothered to maintain the dining area, I shudder to think how poorly the kitchen was being kept.
I took a few bites of my meal, which cost me $21.25, but it didnāt even taste like the usual food I get from Chipotle. It was inedible, so I ended up throwing it away. The entire staff, especially the manager, should be fired. Iām planning to contact the Health Department to report what I witnessedāit was absolutely appalling.
Food isnāt cheap, and itās insulting to pay that much for a meal thatās both poorly prepared and served in such a filthy environment. I will never set foot in any Chipotle again. The food is bad, the service is worse, and the lack of cleanliness should be a serious concern for the health department. Save yourself the troubleāmake a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at home. Itās cheaper, and at least youāll...
