This Wendy’s is In desperate need for a management overhaul. They are frequently out of soda and various food items and it’s been a recurring issue for the past 6 months. Recently, I’ve attempted to come here 3 times over the past two weeks, and every experience has been pretty bad. The first time I came, the drive thru was closed 45 minutes before the posted hours. The following week I tried again, but was met at the drive thru with a poorly visible sign that said, “temporarily out of buns.” I tried again just now, During the day, at 2pm and was treated with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a Wendy’s, not by a regular staff member, but by the manager that was running the drive thru.
It was a 15 minute drive thru wait with 3 cars ahead of me. The person on speaker was very slow at the drive thru, cut me off mid sentence and didn’t even listen to what I ordered, stating back the wrong thing. After correcting her, she popped up the total for the order before I had a chance to finish ordering, as if she was trying to rush me through. After I told her I wasn’t done, she replied with a very slow and rude “what. Else. Can. I. Make. For. You.” So at this point I’m hella bugged and already ready to complain, and am then met at the window by two employees. One of which was a young blonde, and just doing her job while being told what to do by the woman who took my order.. who turned out to be in the manager uniform with a headset on. She had a long braid with blondish brown hair that had pink Streaks in it. Neither of them had name tags on, and after receiving my food, before I got my card back, I asked the manager for her name. She stared stone faced at me, and turned away and kept doing what she was doing. So I repeated myself and said, “excuse me, are you the manager? Can I have your name?” She again stared at me, ignoring the question and handed my card to the other employee who then handed it to me. So I asked that girl for the managers name, and she said “her name is Delaney.” (It may have been Laney?). I said thanks and left, very much intending to do the survey, but conveniently enough was not given a receipt.
I then parked, went into the store to an empty dining room with two customers in line (so why the heck everything was taking so long beats me) and I noticed again that the mean manager glanced over at me with her same stone face. I waited in line for 5 minutes, and then asked the super nice cashier for my receipt. She went over to the manager who hid in the corner the whole time, and brought out a receipt that wasn’t mine. When I asked for the correct receipt, a different manager who was much nicer, re printed my exact receipt all while the pink braided manager hid from me like a scared puppy. My correct receipt said my hosts name was Melissa. I’m not sure if that was the younger girl who handed me my card, or if in fact the managers name is actually Melissa...but either way, I’m never coming back to this Wendy’s again. Do yourself a favor and go to the Wendy’s on Traverse Mountain. They are much more professional, the food isn’t old, and their managers aren’t jerks who don’t know how to deal with upset customers. If anyone in upper management reads this, I would LOVE to speak to you about the pink...

As soon as we pulled up, the cashier informed us that they were out of bacon (it was close to 11 PM, so I guess that makes sense). When I asked if they could throw an extra piece of cheese, or maybe a lone onion ring on our sandwiches that we had planned on ordering, in order to make up for the now _LTs that we were ordering (sans bacon), the manager informed me that their was nothing they could do. Again, very poor customer service, didn't even bother to TRY and fix their error and poor planning.
Well, we were hungry, and so we supposed a little missing bacon wouldn't kill us after all. We ordered, and got our food, several meals along with several frosty's. The food was half decent: fries were mostly fresh, some nuggets we got were so-so, and the sandwiches seemed a bit stale, but palatable.
The real kicker were the Frosties though. They must have been almost out of their dairy product used to make it, because those were the lightest and airiest Frosties I have EVER gotten at a Wendy's. Honestly, if I had started with the Frosties, and seen how little actual ice cream was in them (as compared with the copious amounts of AIR mixed in), I would have asked for a refund then and there. It was like eating chocolate flavored Cotton-Candy; hardly any actual ice-cream at all, mostly air...ugh. As it was, we were several miles down the road by the time we got to our "Air-Frosties", so I didn't bother.
Needless to say, I can't imagine I'll be going to grab a bite again at a Wendy's anytime soon, since they can't keep their quality of service up to snuff. And then of course there's the issue of their lax digital security which recently allowed hackers to take 1000s of customers credit card info (including mine!) and cause all sorts of financial problems. Time to get your act together Wendy's. I'm willing to give you another try if you can fix up shop, but it's not looking...

I had quite possibly the absolute worst fast food experience of my entire life at this location. I ordered a frosty in the drive through, paid, and they handed it to me less than a minute later. I pull out into the road and open my frosty and it's completely liquid, not even cold. There is absolutely no way any employee on their first day should have handed that out the window.
I went back and asked why they would even give that to a customer. She literally just shrugged and said she'd pour me another one. I said no thanks and asked for a refund. It took her like five minutes to track down a manager and bring back less than half what I paid. I gave her the exact amount I paid and she literally argued with me saying I was wrong. I insisted and she went back and found my order and verifies in fact I did pay what I said. So she comes back again and offers me three quarters of a refund. (Never an apology)
I was just plain insulted at this point. Eventually after like ten minutes of her arguing with me about how much I paid, she eventually got it right and I got my full refund. Not only did I not get any food, I lost like 30 minutes of my day arguing about the refund and never getting an apology whatsoever.
A customer should never be served completely inedible food and if they are, the employees absolutely should not be arguing with a customer about how much they paid and offering partial refinds. Forget apologizing for the entire mess which never happened.
I seriously wouldn't eat here for free and there's no way anyone reading this review should even consider patronizing them...
