Lake Springfield Tavern — Restaurant in Leland Grove

Arrived to restaurant and the waitress Karen blatantly did not acknowledge us for over 20 minutes and just continued to walk by and assist other customers until my sister finally asked if someone could assist us and she replied she thought the other waitress had helped us and we said no. Jackie was amazing and provided excellent service of all my years living in Springfield this was my first time supporting this local business establishment. It is now 2023, and saddening that racism still exists. I am a highly educated black woman with a very established career and to receive this treatment was not acceptable.
