Gorditas Mi Ranchito — Restaurant in Lemont Township

IF YOU DONT SPEAK SPANISH READ MY REVIEW: I had finished eating my meal and I had gone up to order something to go. The same man with his hair greased back that's always there was with his cooks in the cooking area; through the window the man speaks in Spanish and says to his cook " now what the ** does this guy want now". Here's the thing: I do not appear to be Mexican but I am. I heard this and ordered my meal in Spanish. They looked dumbfounded as if they got caught stealing. I paid for my food and left. Makes me wonder how many people they must talk baldy about behind there backs with Lemont being more English speakers then anything. I will not be returning. I literally rather drive to Little Village then come back here....

We came here for dinner tonight, and while the food was good. I feel like I need to mention something that made Me and My husband uncomfortable. There was a very young girl in extremely revealing clothing, with most of her chest showing who was serving our table and it didn’t feel appropriate for a family friendly dinner environment.

I understand the restaurant can’t control everything, but it made it uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. It might be worth having a dress code to help keep the atmosphere comfortable for everyone.

This place is a MUST!! We live in Joliet area and NOT one Mexican restaurant can compare! Very NICE people run this place (I believe it was sold and new owner's kept it going). Burritos are huge and quality.

We always drink the Orchata from the dispenser, and I have been drinking tht all my life... I feel that it tasted slightly spoiled.

Best Burritos around!!

I also like the chili relleno tacos as well. Fast and very courteous and all around great food.

The salsa had oregano in it and should have cilantro instead!!! It would be perfect if they switched to...
