Lemon Tree Casual Dining — Restaurant in Lemont Township

Service was horrible from the moment we started ordering. We were the only veh in the drive through. Girl rushed us through our order. We pull around and we waited for her to sweep floor maskless. Opened window and took card....then the waiting began. We waited 10 min and then we’re told to move up. We ordered a gyro plate and chicken pita with garlic fries. Not a huge order. We reluctantly pulled up. Waited another 10-15 min. 4 cars behind us got their food. Then we get ours. The rude girl brought us our food. She apologized for the wait. Ok. Np. It’s our first time there....whatever that’s fine we have to wait. We get home and half of our order is wrong and it’s all COLD!!!! I call and when they answer they ask if we can hold....well no I can’t. She proceeds to say “well you’re holding anyway”. I called back and spoke to the manager. They honestly don’t care. Terrible first experience. We always try new places and support local. There’s no way we will return. I guess I will never try these “great garlic fries” because they weren’t in our bag. ...

The burgers were very thin, so two patty's made a whole burger, look at my pics. Kids got hot dogs, hubby got chicken pitas sandwich. The burger tasted ok but weirdly wasnt filling. It looks like a casual full service restaurant from the outside but it is set up with booths and tables on the inside, so there is a lot of seating. The sodas are full of a lot of ice. Hubby wasnt thrilled with the chicken pita, it was lacking flavor so when we left he said we should have stopped at a Mexican restaurant nearby. In this day and age you definitely need more meat than bread and this was definitely more bread. I'm posting the receipt so you can see the prices. The 2 hot dogs with fries were a special so keep that in mind and they did not come with a drink for 5.99. My meal and hubby's were near the 10 dollar mark. I honestly dont feel it was worth it. A casual dining place would have given a better patty. They call themselves casual dining but it is fast food. They do have a drive...

The drive thru takes way too long, if there are 3 cars in line you're going to be there 30 minutes, we don't understand why they don't start the order as it's taken, instead it seems they completely finish the person in front of you before starting your order, it's slows it down, they need some adult help in how to multitasking cooking. How to cook and maintain several orders going at the same time. If I am car 4 in line at the drive thru and order 2 hot dogs and fries, by the time I get to the window I shouldn't be waiting 15 minutes, it should be done already. The food is good but please lemon tree get some adults In there to train and motivate the speedy delivery of the made fresh items. It's possible and honestly business would pick up because I know so many people who decline going because it will take too long. Improve sales by improving your delivery speed...
