Enjoy Pure Food + Drink — Restaurant in Lenexa

I had high expectations for this establishment, but unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The staff was neither welcoming nor particularly engaging, which gave the impression of a lack of enthusiasm or care.

Additionally, I was surprised to find that there was no nutritional information provided anywhere on the menu — not even basic calorie counts. When I inquired, the employees explained that the owner believes quality shouldn't be defined by macros, but I personally feel that transparency around nutrition is essential in today’s dining landscape.

As for the food, it was far from impressive. I tried the Spicy Rooster. The chicken was the driest and most flavorless I’ve encountered in quite some time. I had hoped for something more satisfying, but it fell flat. The kids' meal carrots were decent, but the chicken strips were equally bland. The protein shake was poorly blended, leaving chunks that made it difficult to enjoy.

I needed to get lunch early with my two crazy toddlers, came into Enjoy (not knowing that I was coming in 10 minutes early before they were technically “open”). The cashier politely began to explain to me that unfortunately the restaurant isn’t open yet but will be open in about 10 minutes, but that is when the owner interrupted and said that I can actually order now and someone can make my food even though they weren’t open yet. I am not entitled and never would’ve expected anyone to do that for me, but I think it just goes to show that this locally-owned business truly does care about and value their customers.
