I just witnessed the most disgusting display from a Starbucks employee in Lenoir NC. I was sitting in the waiting area waiting on my order. A man and his small daughter came in and he evidently stood in the wrong area to order and after some time he got a little upset flailing his arms a bit and walked out. The man did not yell or cuss, he simply said "I've been waiting all this time here and nobody helped me." After looking around and seeing several cash registers and another sign that says "mobile" on top of another sign that says "order" where he was standing, I can see the confusion. After the gentleman walked out a staff employee named Amelia, begin speaking to her fellow colleagues laughing and pointing to where the customer should have stood and then began mocking him and his hand motions. I immediately stood up and told Amelia she was wrong and then went to the shift manager Bree to get a refund on my order. I told the shift manager that this employee should be fired and that I will contact Starbucks corporation because this type of behavior from an employee should and cannot be tolerated. I also asked Bree if they have cameras inside the store and she replied "yes." I asked her to watch Amelia making fun of the customer. Simply disgusting. Read moreI’m already a fan of Starbucks because they rarely get my drink wrong like other places. Today, Amanda deserves a shout out. Every single time she talks to me in the drive thru, she is very pleasant and always asks how my day is going. Every. Single. Time. Consistency is what you look for in a stellar employee and Amanda is consistent.
I called today because Dragonfruit drinks were sold out again as they are very popular this time of year. Amanda suggested to swap out the dragonfruit with blackberries instead. It was pretty good too. Almost as good as dragonfruit. She didn’t have to do that, she could have just said “yeah sorry we are sold out right now” and hung up, but she didn’t.

Read moreI order a pretty complicated drink. They've only ever gotten it wrong once and they were super busy then. Staff is always friendly and will correct a mistake if you ask. I don't know who the manager is and there is no card to indicate who that is like every other Starbucks. They may not have a full time one yet. I know there were plenty of people from the Boone location down to help when they first opened. These guys are still trying to find their legs and it shows. My only complaints are that wait times are a little long, they seem to be out of things quite a bit (or forget to restock regularly), and that it's usually pretty dirty inside. The tables, the floor, the coffee station, and the bathroom. It needs a good sweep. Fix those things and my 4 star will turn into a 5. I'm a regular, so...
