Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in Leon Valley

A MUST READ I have been here a few times before and drive through is mostly acceptable with an occasional outstanding employee. I've eaten inside once or twice, but am hardly in the area. Today, approximately 4pm, was particularly ugly in the customer service department. It wasn't the employees, whom were typically a younger bunch concerned with the selling of pies. Today was about the manager displaying the most disgusting behavior towards a customer...me. It started off with my ordering and being told the fries would take three minutes to cook. I was fine with waiting. I was charged for my order and given my drink and trusted enough to not notice until later, that I wasn't given my receipt. I was dressed not my best and chose to sit in the back. I realized way too much time had past and decided to inquire about my order. The manager hadn't seen me order, so he asked what I needed and I proceeded to inform him of my wait. His response was "okayy." His expression said to me that he didn't know what I should be expecting him to do about it. So I told him again. I received the same response. As hard as it was for me to contain my anger, I asked him what he was going to do about it. Apparently, because I couldn't remember which female employee took my order and noone spoke out, the manager decided to treat me as if I was trying to get a free meal. I knew I had already paid, so he decided to ring me up again and make me pay for a second meal when he had only given me one. So I pulled out my banking app and showed him that I had already paid, he again looked at me as if he felt obligated to do nothing about it. I had to get firm just to get refunded what he over charged me and then said he couldn't put it back on my card and gave me cash. He followed me outside near my car, but on the other side of the car next to me, asked me to roll down my window and said that I got a free meal and I only paid for one then told me to never return. I told the manager that was not a problem. I thought people should know in the hopes that justice will be served, so others in the future can comfortably dine without prejidious...

Usually have a great experience at this location but not tonight. Went to the drive up to place order at 8:30 pm. There were about 8 cars already in line. Young man came up to take order. He apologized for not having a pad to write order so he wrote order on his left palm of his hand. He took my debit card. Waited...waited some more and finally after 20 minutes I saw him come out the door. I called to him and mentioned our order. He had the deer in he headlights look and at first denied helping us. I told him about our order and his said he would get it right away. I was also worried about my debit card being left on the counter. He was very apologetic said that we didn't have to pay for order. After another 10 more minutes he came out with our order. He said he would give us a free gallon of tea for our troubles. I reminded him that with the 10 pc order of chicken you get a free tea anyway. Again...the deer in the headlights look. I mentioned that we also ordered 2 cokes. He went inside to get the 2 cokes. I had my wife the the order and we were missing the extra rolls and 5 jalepeno's we had ordered. When he brought sodas out I reminded him of the rolls and jalepeno's. He came back with these items and profusely apologized saying that he had a really bad day. We left and vowed to use the new Bushs chicken place on Huebner. Remember the free meal he promised to give us for our troubles? Well, checked online and was charged. About 35 minute wait and I got sweet tea when I ordered unsweetened. I guess it doesn't pay to write on order on the palm...

Horrible management. Waited about 5mins before I got acknowledged by someone. The manager rudely is walking around the kitchen and says, "what can I get you?" After I look at him strange since he's not at the register he repeats himself. So I give him the order, when he finally comes to the register he forgets half the order which was only combo and some sides. When I wait some time I finally get my order but supposedly their still waiting on my bombers. I see my chicken immediately and mention that it looks dry can they switch it out. Again the manager gives no eye contact and with some more rude attitude says, "their all like that." Gets a pair of tongs and throws 2 more ugly chicken strips on my plate. I wasn't asking for anything more, except for nice service and good food. Not some more extra dry food. Should've just got my money back and went to chick fila. Btw it was slow inside and out, so no excuses for the crappy attitude especially from a member of management. SAVE YOUR MONEY cause the food sucks. Chew on the chicken for about 5mins if you decide...
