Dairy Queen Restaurant — Restaurant in Lewisville

You know it made me really appreciate places like Dairy Queen that really hit me in a way they bring back memories. Dairy Queen is one of the restaurant that my grandfather used to like get his ice cream from. As I remember when grandfather used to go to Dairy Queen he loved his vanilla ice cream cone so I bring back a lot of memories to me so right now I'm emotional when I say this because those are the Happy Days that I can remember. Matter of fact the Dairy Queen that they had on Royal Lane but it's not there anymore my grandfather was a great man and a hard worker the love to treat himself to Dairy Queen time to time. Lately I've been thinking about my grandparents so when I replied it it made me feel real good then my grandfather enjoy Dairy Queen when he was here on this Earth. Maybe someone else will feel the same way I feel about their grandparents. Grandfather was a type of man that likes to take off and leave grandmother at home and have ice cream I guess he felt like spoiling his self at that time. So now we like Dairy Queen also so my thing is dipped in chocolate that is my favorite When I visit Dairy Queen the one in Farmers Branch I really enjoy going there when we visit the manager is so friendly and very courteous we love that kind of treatment if I can say. Also Dairy Queen make some very very awesome banana split that will rock your world if I can say that also I'm just the type of person the light to tell the truth and also let everybody know that what's going on in these places that we go in and out every day of Our Lives. All it takes is one person they have the Bold Spirit like me and The Voice they go with it. Just like they say all the Takis one ticket you just got to have the right ticket they win the lottery hopefully I can say it also. You at the right place at Dairy Queen and at the right time when you go I'm just letting it be known hopefully one of these days I can get somebody they help me out with these replies that I do. So the owners at these companies will let these hard-working people know is someone out there that really appreciate them like me. And don't mind telling someone else that I am a satisfied customer that always come back and spend...

I would not recommend going to this Dairy Queen if you have other choices, I’ve never had a good experience every time I’ve went there but as close to my house, that’s why I continue to go there, but today was the worst of all to start with deleting the drive-through I had to repeat my order to her three or four times and she was rude. Then when I pulled up to pay, she was even ruder then after I paid, I was told to pull around to the double doors so I pulled around and continue to wait on my food for at least 30 minutes seeing other people going through the drive-through leaving with their food even another person put in a parking spot and got their food Before me, so I ended up going inside the building which I shouldn’t have to because that’s why I use the drive-through then when I went inside to find out where my order was first, it was waiting my burrito didn’t they said they were waiting on my Jalitos so I had to wait even longer for my food once I got my food the same lady was rude again to me with an attitude then once I get home and we eat our food my burritos burnt I can barely cut it as well as the Juliito’s were burnt so I don’t know that I’ll be back to this Dairy Queen because my experiences have not been the best and cheese bites. I’ve always enjoyed this DQ and never any issues until last week and again this week. Both times ordered a peanut buster parfait. Both times I received ice cream packed into two cups that were fastened together - the lid was literally another small sized cup with no hole to spoon through like the regular parfait lid has. I’ve ordered these for decades and never had it served up like this.

To eat it I had to take the top cup off, whereupon peanuts cascaded everywhere and ice cream quickly began to drip. I couldnt spoon any ice cream without making melting ice cream overflow around the edges.

The first time I thought this was a joke some new high school employee thought was funny. The second time, I asked the girl at the window how I was supposed to open this to eat it. She very rudely said “Like normal” and slammed the window and walked off. So. I will not be back at this location.

I had to bring the parfait home & dump into a cereal bowl in order to eat it. By then the ice cream had dripped all over my clothes. The pic is after I opened it and lost half the peanuts...
