Imagine your typical small -town splash pad with ten or so fountains in a circle. Then multiply that by ten, all in varying strengths, angles, and configurations. Old Town also has tons of shaded picnic table seating in and around the water, immediately adjacent to spacious bathrooms. I wish they had a bit more shade over the water itself but it's such a minor complaint given the amenities available. Also right next door is a pair of playgrounds on cushioned ground cover. Read moreWe had a blast at the Old Town Aquatic Center and our 3 year old loved it! This facility is definitely better for younger children but I saw kids of all ages. They have a few splash pads, a small lazy river, a big slide for older kids (48” or higher) and a smaller slide or shorter kids and toddlers. Admission is $3 for non residents and $2 for Lewisvillians. They take cash and card. Kids 2 and under are free. Lifeguards are great, they enforce the rules as they should.
