Update: 04 June 2019: I do not recommend this restaurant at all. It is amazing that I looked at reviews and saw that some were over the top flowing with good reviews. Not accurate reviews in my opinion or inexperienced reviewers. I decided to return to this location and give them a second try after a disappointing Thanksgiving Day order. What a difference a few months will make. I was thoroughly disappointed in this location and my spouse did not even finish her food. My spouse got the chicken and I got the three meat selection. I got three slices of brisket about nine slices of sausage and two rib bones in this specific meal set up. They didn't bother to tell us that whatever we put on our plate was included with that specific meal selection until we were already at the register. My spouse selected about a spoonful of each green beans and macaroni cheese with a piece of corn on her plate. She told me that the green beans were cold, the macaroni was cold, and the corn had no seasoning or flavor. She said both tasted as if they came straight out of the can and was put on the plate. I was irritated that I got more sausage than I did brisket or rib in my three meat selection. The bread they put on my plate was cold, hard, and stale as shown in the photograph it wasn't consumed. There was a gentleman who came around with a basket of bread and gave us some fresh hot pieces of bread. The beans I consumed were lukewarm cool from the counter. We decided to go to another restaurant to get something to eat as a result of leaving this "food" on the table.

Three star visit...I was given the name of the restaurant as a result of asking friends where to get a brisket for our Thanksgiving day meal. I am fairly new to the area, but I remember seeing the location pop up sometime ago. I visited the Lewisville restaurant location and was greeted by a representative named Mike who took my order for three pounds of smoked brisket. I received barbecue sauce and rolls with the order to go. The service was good and the restaurant was clean in appearance. The failure was the smoked brisket. It didn't appear to be smoked at all. There was no red cooking ring in the brisket...at all. It appears to have been an oven cooked product. The low and slow cooking of a brisket was the point of having a business cook the brisket for me. I was already smoking other meats and just had a full pit. This was disappointing when my family noticed and starting asking why was I too lazy to cook in on the pit. It was then I commented that I bought the brisket from the restaurant which I believed would cook it the way it is supposed to be cooked for customers. I feel I got taken for three pounds of oven roasted beef brisket. Even the food clubs sell brisket with a cooking ring on the brisket. Yes, I advised my family of the name...

The young man who was working 8/8/22 behind the take out counter at 7:30 pm exemplifies horrible customer service. I stood behind a gentleman who had placed his order and was waiting. A young nice blond lady was assisting him with his order. The young man never acknowledged my presence never asked if I had been helped continued to look at his phone, so I thought maybe the young lady was the only one completing take out orders. After the gentleman in front of me 10 minutes later received his order HE VERY RUDELY took my order and throughout was very rude. I proceeded to stand in front of the register after being handed my cup for a drink and he asked me what did I need pointed at the ice.I stood there utterly dissapointed and really hoping this gentleman could redeem himself with a better attitude. No customers were behind me I was literally standing a few feet away from where the customer before me stood for 10 minutes. At this point I'm disgusted by his behavior and asked to cancel my order. The young lady came back to the counter and asked me if I had been helped and I said yes but he was very rude. I asked to speak with the manager whom I explained and addressed the young man personally with the manager present about his behavior and lack of cordial service. The manager apologized the young man said nothing he could have cared LESS. Im not sure if my speaking with the manager mattered either. I will return just on principle to see if this was an isolated incident. I understand working with the public is hard and it is never my intent to go into an establishment and make anyone's day or job harder. I hope that the situation is addressed other than with an apology. When we walked in we stood in the dining In serving line but got directed over the Go to counter where we encountered Host Conor Focus your attention on your food. The To Go Container are just smaller snacks portions. We heard the host Conor say make sure to use the one marked as served first... (servicing old meat first, not fresh). Serving size was intentionally served as half of smaller portions. You could combine the two cups to fit in the palm of your hand They make sure you do not eat too much. Just by eyeballing the 3 Meat combo it weighed less than a pound of meat/with starchy vegetables. One 3-ounce cup of Green Beans as half full One 3-ounce cup of Mac & cheese as half full The quality of the meat was over cooked, dyed out two vegetable cups were starchy and cold .

For example, I'm standing right in front of you. Why not just hand me the bag instead of as host, place it on the container and say y'all have a good rest of your day...as if he did us a favor. Do not answer the fool according to their folly. The more stable and confident person has no need to talk back to anyone over an insult.
