I am very very very disappointed in the level of customer service I received at Chic fil-A today. I was in a rush and there was a long line but from experience I knew the line would move briskly so I waited diligently. When I finally made it to the menu board I ordered the #4 3ct which came to $7.57. I order this meal regularly so I was eager to indulge.
I opened the box of tenders and noticed they were much smaller than usual. It looked like an old batch. I figured I would simply go in and exchange the nuggets for a better batch.
I immediately turned my car back around and went into the restaurant thinking I would have no issues exchanging my food, however when I politely told the clerk the issue she directed me toward the manager.
I proceeded to tell the manager that I went thru the drive-thru and received tenders smaller than normal and would like to exchange them. She then proceeded to EXPLAIN that they have no control over the size of the tenders and what they get is what they get, she then proceeded to take my box of tenders pass them to other employees to get them to confirm that the size of the tenders were normal and big.
I told her I order the meal frequently and they have never been that size and to simply provide a new batch.
She then advised that she worked there for 7years and the tenders were normal size. I then told her to give me a refund.
She said no problem and told me I could keep the old batch of tenders that she just passed around. I left them behind.
Here’s my issue; how you or your employees feel about the order that I just paid almost $8 for is irrelevant. I work in customer service. The best thing for her to do was to acknowledge my complaint and fix it by either replacing the order or providing another tender to offset the size. Instead of doing this she waited until I asked for a refund, never once offering to fix my order😡
I was extremely hungry and late getting back to work due to this poor customer service. This manager needs additional training and is not a good representation of the Chic fil-A brand that I have been in support of for over ten years. I am offended and disappointed that this was not handled with the customers’ interest at...
Read moreSo I went there on Wednesday through drive-through to pick up. A order of 4 count Minnie's meal with a ice coffee which is essentially about $9.50 in total charge. However what they ended up doing is charging me only for the ice coffee and they totally missed the point that I actually want meal. So they had wrung up my card twice. This is essentially a eleven dollar meal. Since it was drive-through and I was busy with work related tasks throughout my day, I was unable to come through to To dispute the transaction until friday. When I came in to the place I asked them what's the charge for the whole meal including the ice coffee and what's the charge for 2 separate orders, 1 charge for the ice coffee and 1 charge for the actual meal. Once I uncovered this difference the boss came through and gave me nothing but attitude and said old only thing I can do is give you the change in difference. And I was like OK. That's fine and then I proceed to tell her that that is robbery essentially. You're providing a product or service for the customer and you have to provide the reasonable means for the customer to conduct said transaction. If you heard something different over the intercom for the drive-through you are supposed to clarify with the customer what the transaction is and that there is a difference in the charge, and you will omit it but essentially charging my card twice for an additional dollar fifty is theft. And then like I said the manager was giving me. All sorts of obnoxious rudeness in regards to dealing with the dispute. If you could not understand simple transactions between a customer and a business, then ask for an increase in minimum wage is just ridiculous. This country really has gone the wayside of pride in work. Go get an education and understand that people are smarter than you and that you do not deserve to give them attitude because you do not wish to handle...
Read moreVery unfortunate experience. Chick-Fil-A is supposed to be an establishment that takes pride in their customer service, and this location did not live up to the standard. We walked in at 8:30 only for Ms. Rosaline to directly tell us that they close at 9pm. Such a great way to welcome us in. Upon placing our order, I noticed Ms. Rosaline handing a bagged order to another customer. The gentleman grabs the bag and then asks for a tray so he can dine in. Ms. Rosaline states that they close the dining room at 9pm. Then the guest checks his phone and says " it's 8:40, I have time to finish before 9pm. After his statement, Ms Rosaline hands him a food tray. When our food was ready and we get our bag,(of course not a tray), the food was clearly tossed all into one bag which was evident by the opened boxed-chicken sandwhich. We expressed our concern to Ms. Rosaline and she automatically starts blaming an employee by the name of Juan. When I see the scene that is about to commence, I decide to diffuse the situation by just asking for refund. I've seen the negative reviews about this place and it's a shame because the employees like Juan and Logan (both men that helped us with great customer service) are led by someone like Ms. Rosaline which clearly does not care about the establishment and the staff. All this is still an understatement for the experience we had. What was most dissapointing was that we had a family member come in from out of the country and was so excited to try chickfila for the first time, I suppose that will be at another time & definitely at a another location. Leaving this honest review was of my...
