Taco Casa — Restaurant in Lewisville

I was pretty excited when this location first opened. I LOVE Taco Casa, so I kept hoping that this location would just "get it together". First, they ALWAYS rob you of cheese! They put the smallest amount out of all the Taco Casa's in the area (I've been to most of them). A few months ago, I asked about this and the associate stated that the new management team told them to put less cheese on all food items. That's just wrong! Second, the sweet tea has never been consistent. It's rarely good, but I kept hoping "one day". Today, I ordered a chilada, soft taco, and sweet tea. The soft taco was rolled liked a burrito with no cheese, a ton of lettuce, and barely there beef; it was ridiculous. The chilada had less beef than the taco, so basically, I paid $3.78 for a wet bean and cheese burrito! The sweet tea tasted like cleaning products. I AM DONE! I will drive to the next Taco Casa and NEVER go here again. Their failed attempts at the change of hands in management just keeps getting worse and worse. The cashier actually tried to tell me that I'm the first person to complain about the food since the new crew has been here. I told her that they were horrible too and keeping up the same failures since opening this location. I, also, advised her to check Google and Yelp reviews for a history on this location... I'm definitely NOT the first nor only one! I just kept believing in nothing all this...

I use to come to this location a lot...but my last 2 visits have not been very pleasant experiences. Couple months ago my entire order was incorrect and I had to feed 4 kids with almost nothing and whatever I could put together quick from my pantry. I called the store and the manager was very nice and she offered to replace my entire order the next day (which was nice, at least the customer service was awesome!) but it didn’t solve me having to scrounge up food that night and I had to make another 20 minute trip the next day to pick the food up. So this evening I decided to go grab a quick dinner after a scout meeting and at first the drive thru person tried to tell me they were already closed...it was only 9:50. When I mentioned the time someone else came on and apologized and proceeded to take my order. When I get home, my sons tells me that his frijoles have a watery substance in it. I sure hope this wasn’t intentional....Needless to say, I think I’ll be taking another break from eating here. We have always enjoyed eating Taco Casa but lately it hasn’t been the same type of service...

So me an my friend went threw the drive threw an got food for us an a friend that was back at their place an when we got back to their place we noticed we didn't have all the food so we tried calling about ten times an no one answered so we drove up there an told they guy that gave us our food what was missing an said "ok let me tell my Managor an I'll be right back", which was fine an he was polite but when the Managor came over she called us liers about one of the two things an was very rude about making the replacement food. As they where making the food we ask one of the workers for the number to the next hire person an she said she would get it for us in a friendly manor an we waited cus her an the other guy where busy an the Managor was eating, when she got back the lady that was helping us told her we wanted the number an the Managor has been straight up ignoring us since then an at the time I finished typing this we have been here for about 20mins an we still haven't...
