BBM — Restaurant in Lexington

Jay is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Not only did he deal with a large group of us during the week (which by the way- drinks were great 👍🏻), but his service extends outside the Bigg Blue Martini. Cliff notes version: -Flight cancelled and moved to next available flight that leaves at 8pm -After we checked out, we were napping in the lobby and Jay brought me a pillow, another chair for my legs, offered coffee/soda, and was downright above and beyond to make sure we were still comfortable -He then talked to the manager at the Hilton to see if we could get back into one of the rooms for a more comfortable extended wait in Lexington (we used it for a nap)

I am actually still in the hotel writing this because WOW— I have NEVER EVER received such amazing service that was literally what one would call ABOVE AND BEYOND! I am so grateful for the experience and the kindness that Jay and the team at the Hilton...

After a long day of driving, this was our first stop after checking in. We were tired and did not want to walk to other restaurants, so we came here. Fortunately, we were one of three tables, so service was fast. The drinks were well made. The nacho appetizer was far better than expected. Tender chicken, fresh and crisp chips and great toppings, including the cheeses. Often times nachos in bars can be greasy and lack flavor. Not these, they were definitely elevated. The caesar salad was good, but the shrimp were amazing. Light and fluffy, similar to those you get off the boat in South Carolina. Often time bar shrimp can be rubbery and tasteless, but not these. The souther fried chicken salad would have been best with just the salad. The chicken was dry and flavorless. Overall, there were still enough things done right, that I would give it a 4.5 if possible, but I cannot...

Stay away. NOT Hilton quality. Walked on at 6 PM. Waited 20 minutes and no recognition. Walked up to bar and asked if we should wait to be seated. We were told to sit anywhere. Told them where we were going to sit and still waited 15 minutes. Finally ordered a Charcuterie board which came within 10 minutes however our drinks took 20 minutes. The drinks were not made per the menu description and the Charcuterie board came without any bread or crackers for the cheeses and meats. We left after almost 2 hrs having to send back one drink and consuming part of the board. We were charged for only one drink and the appetizer however we did not receive happy hour prices due to the time it took to recieve service. The place was less than 30% filled only 32 people. VERY DISAPPOINTING HILTON AND IT WAS RECOMMENDED BY YOUR FRONT DESK STAFF. One night and done here....
