Haven't been in awhile. It's a small place that is decorated nicely. Whereas Prince has sort of a mideast cafe feel, Casablanca is more like a club. Went there several times. When a DJ was there the music was RIDICULOUSLY loud. Seriously, everyone bitches about how loud these places play their music. How about we stop? My friend and I had to use our phones just to talk. The owner though, man. The guy would hustle a nun if he thought it'd make him a buck. My friend and I stopped going when, after going several times our shisha wasn't so good. Not much flavor, not much smoke. We asked if we could get a replacement/repack. The owner took one of our hoses and tried it himself (yeah, treat your customers like liars, I get it) then said, "tastes fine to me" and walked off. So since he wasn't willing to part with about 50 cents worth of shisha, he lost our repeat business. We also had an issue where we'd go in to buy some shisha and they didn't have the flavor in stock. "We'll get some next Wednesday." So it went for three weeks. I don't think they ever did get it, either. My general whininess aside, if you don't mind a slick operator trying to swindle you for a buck (which can be kind of fun, actually), it's a pretty good place so long as you avoid it when...
Read moreThis place is amazing! I came to visit Lexington Kentucky and asked around about the places to be and most of the people were mentioning Casablanca Hookah lounge at 287 South Limestone so I had to come.
As soon as I came the parking was great right on the street and the first thing I look for is hospitality. As soon as I came through the door I was greeted by Chingy which seated me and took my Hookah request.
Not only were they very quick to make the hookah also asked if everything was Ok.
What I enjoyed the most was how great the environment was. I was able to kick back and relax without worrying about anything.
This place is definitely a GO-TO throughout the week and for after hours.
Thank you CASABLANCA I’ll definitely be...
Read moreMy husband and I are on vacation so we decided to go to Lexington for the week. We decided to check out this hookah bar, because it was the closest to the brewery’s we checked out. This guy had no idea what he was doing. He waited to we sat down & asked for a menu with the flavors to tell us that not only could he not accept card as opposed to telling us when we first get there. He had no idea how to even set up the hookah for us when asking us what we would like. I understand filling in but this experience alone will make it our first last & only time there. If I could give a negative score I would. Please whatever you do go to any one hookah bar as opposed...
