There is something to be said about a jovial bartender on a cold and miserable day. I stumbled into this establishment a few weeks ago. It was Friday night and I just finished a strenuous week of work—I was ready for a few drinks. I found a seat at the bar and was still shivering from the cold when the bartender approached me with a warm, cordial smile and asked “Hey! Whatcha havin?”. Since the bar was nearly full I expected to wait awhile for my drink, however, it arrived before I could finish removing my coat. I was astonished. I watched the bartender work. She was in her element. She deftly moved about the bar creating drinks, conversing with patrons, and smiling—always smiling. As soon as I finished a beer, a topped off glass was sitting in its place. I noticed this was done for every patron—everyone was cared for and treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. I originally planned to have a few drinks and leave, but I was so enthralled by the experience I decided to stay. disclaimer- we had a group of 16. When we went in the line was long but I thought that’s as a good sign because it would hopefully mean the food was good. When we ordered, they arranged us in groups of 6 and gave all six people 1 single call number to share which shouldn’t have been a problem until there wasn’t enough seats for our group to sit in the same area. When the food arrived, we had to deliver the food to the rest of the group that’s as sitting in a different area because like I said before, we only had one number and you have to have your number to get your food. Even though we were in a group it would have been more efficient to give us individual numbers in my opinion. But that wasn’t the worst part. When I got my food it was COLD. Which wasn’t too bad by the thing is my meal costed $10 which is kinda expensive for a lunch of that size. I finished my meal with my rice only to find half of it was over cooked and so hard that you couldn’t eat it. Overall very dissatisfied especially...

I never take the time out of my day to review places unless they've really had an impact on me (positive/negative) but 3x in row I've had the WORST experience. The only reason I've allowed this to happen multiple times is because I absolutely use to love local taco and understand mistakes happen! However, I've ordered take out the past 3 times and not only have they completely got my order wrong but they forget multiple sides to where there's literally not enough food for my family. This is the 3rd time in a row I've had the same exact experience. They even told me to check the receipt to make sure everything was correct and on paper, it was! Food is never warm and even though I have a short 5 minute drive, I know that's not completely their fault because I understand how picking it up works. Not to mention they left me on hold for 13 mins, I hung up- called back and got right through. Dining in, I highly recommend.
