This place is definitely the best Mexican food I’ve had in Lexington. Homemade tortillas, salsas, horchata, and obviously all the meats. It’s clean, the people are nice, and the food is clearly prepared with care and intention. The gorditas are meat and Oaxaca cheese the way they should be. The quesa birria is perfect, huge portions, and the broth is rich and delicious; not the thin cheap beef broth at some places. So me my mom and sister was driving on New Circle Rd and we stopped at this really cute restaurant for sum street 🌮 let me just say they greeted us with respect when we came in very very nice ppl. Carlos was the one who helped and and he was really nice and helpful. Listen, it just doesn’t get better than this. I have been in search for the best birria tacos around Lex for a long time. I have tried just about everywhere.
