Unfortunately we were unable to eat here. If it is posted that drive ups only would be served we would have driven in. We were visiting family we had not seen in a year and wanted to sit and catch up. There was no other patrons at CookOut so they were not just busy. We couldn’t get anyone to acknowledge us. We tried doors and windows. I finally looked up at this tent and it does say drive through but that was the first place I saw that. I thought other CookOuts were eat in. Had the staff seen us, recognized we were “not from around here”, explained why they were refusing to serve us due to their drive threw only policy we would have moved on with little to no frustration. Instead they made eye contact and looked away, knew we were there but ignored. Can you imagine if someone came out, explained the restaurants set up, and offered other suggestions? That would have been a five star review without ever eating there because I believe people who care about people make better food than people who are there for other reasons. I’m still glad they are working but I’m unsure they were happy about it. They were not happy about me looking in a window to try to find the door🤣. I wish they had saved us time and pride and we could have given them gratitude, sometimes that’s enough and deserves 5 stars!!!!

It was my first experience eating here and I definitely didn’t expect to eat outside, but that was okay for us because the weather was cooler and the rain happened to have stopped before we got there. The person who took our order was very sweet and nice! The wait to get our food was over 25 minutes, which was pretty wild to us since we were the only ones sitting outside waiting (3 people), but hopefully that’s not the norm. The order was accurate and the food was really good. I forgot to take pictures of our burgers, chicken tenders, fries, etc because we were so hungry. But they were good! The cheese bite things were basically tiny mozzarella bites. The cheese fries were delicious. The cheddar burger was awesome. I had the mocha milkshake (pictured) and it was very thick and very yummy. I am gonna try the caramel fudge one next time! They don’t put whipped cream on them, which I liked. Super good. The tables were slightly dirty, but I imagine they get tons of traffic. They currently have a tent over the order window area for sun and rain since inside dining is unavailable. Overall a great time despite the wait. I’ll be back!

Today is June 12th 2023 I came to cookout on June 11th in my fries and the cheese bites was unedible but I didn't have time to turn around to get them to fix the order today I came and a young lady named ty was able to help me out which I was not looking for I just came to order my usual burger fries and cheese bites and I was explaining to her that yesterday's food was uneditable except the burger me that that was not the policy of cookout they do not like to have their customers have nasty food so I had paid for my food and she told me since I got food that was not good yesterday that I didn't have to pay for it today I thought that was very nice of her and went up and beyond the call of duty as a worker at cookout calling and telling companies that the food is uneditable but tye reassured me that the cookout policy is not to serve food like that

Been going there since they opened. NEVER AGAIN. Never once has the order been correct. Always missing something, or something other than we ordered. Just went there for the last time. Almost every time WE ARE OVER CHARGED, a $11.90 order was just now $15.22. We asked the Hispanic girl at the window, why it was so much. She had no ideal what we said, Or was a good actress. This is why they are not a good place to go. They have never been able to explain the increase in price, from the menu. $5.25, and $5.99 is $11.24, tax 67 cents. Total is $11.90, not $15.22 February 18, 2022. We decided to try the place one more time. Bad decision. As usual they over charged us, and got our order wrong. We were charged $1 for bacon, WE DID NOT ORDER. And over the cost of our tray were were charged for a Huge coke, $2.29. The drink comes with the tray. AGAIN OVER CHARGED, ORDER WRONG. Made our order $4 more than it should have been. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. THIS SEEMS TO BE A GENERAL PRACTICE TO OVER CHARGE. We requested a itemized receipt. When we asked the cashier about the over charge, she had no intention of listening to us. or helping figure it out AT ALL IF YOU HAVE EXTRA MONEY YOU WANT TO GIVE AWAY, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Feb 27, 2002. Well my wife unfortunately brought home food from this place again. We ate it. The 3 of us that had the double burgers, had to sit on the toilet several times. It had to be the burgers, that is all we ate the same. DAMN June 19, 2022. I have no idea why my wife talked me into go back here. We went through the drive thru last night at 11. Ordered 2 BLT trays. $5.99 each. I TOLD THEM we do not want to get any up charge at all. 3 times. Just what came with the meal. Got to the window to pay. $11.98, plus 72 tax = $12.70, was told $13.75. I asked the girl why. She said that we up charged . I said absoultly hell no we did not, and that every time we come here this happens. The 3 girls at the window that had absoultly no interest in helping us clear this up, they would not stop over talking each other. We just drove off. This has been a common practice since they opened. If they do this to everyone, damn they are crooks. I told the girl the total should have been $12.70. She said that was wrong. BUT ON THE MENU board...

I'm am never one to leave bad reviews but I just felt the need to after my most recent visit. The restaurant was open until about 4am and I showed up at about 2am (understandably late) I went for the door but it was locked and the security guy told me I couldn't go in but I could however go through the drive through (I didn't drive I walked)

I stood in the drive through where no one attended me or my girlfriend and out of frustration I asked the car behind me if he could pull up and that way maybe I'd be detected by sensors and they'd finally ask me for my order.

The guy in the car told me that the security guy had told him not to help me. As he says this the security guy quickly went back inside so I couldn't ask him what was up. So I waited until no one was in the drive through and I quickly walked to the window where I heard the manager saying "quick close the window" which basically said that they were intentionally not wanting to help me. The young man said "here we go" probably assuming I was a drunk or something but he heard me out and gave me my order secretly behind the store because were supposed to have a car when going into the through. He was very nice and handled everything well but this all could have been avoided if the security guy had just told me I couldn't go into the drive through on foot. Instead I was on a goose chase looking kind of creepy. A 2 minute transaction turned into about a 25 minute one.

I'm all for a company following rules but it was Wednesday at 2am so no parties from campus could have been happening plus the colleges have let out for the summer so treating me like I was some kind of threat...

Every time my boyfriend and I come here to eat we always leave having had poor service and an awful experience. It seems that every other time we come through the drive thru our order is messed up in some way or another. Not only that but if you call to complain about your messed up food you will speak with a manager named Andrew who has never been anything but rude and unwilling to solve the problem. I have called multiple times in order to have my food remade the way that it was ordered and i always get the same manager who claims to put my name and my order down in what he called a replacement book and that i could come anytime and expect my order to be made correctly without charge due to the mess up the first time. I've worked in fast food for years so i understand that mistakes happen and am very forgiving when it comes to my order not being correct by the time i get home. When i went to cookout the second time i ordered my food the same way as i did the last time and told the person who was taking my order over the speaker that i had a free meal on Andrew that he had my name written down in a replacement book. The person at the window asked me to pull up to the window and acted like they didn't believe me. Upon pulling to the window i was greeted by none other than Andrew himself who claimed to never have spoken to me before and suggested i was lying. Eventually it came down to me paying for my order even though i was told it would redeemed but promised that he would make my NEXT meal free. I have not...
